Great review, Dave! After watching so many reviewers out there, I think I’ve come to trust your ears the most.
Thank you for the kind words.
Thanks Dave! I enjoy your reviews. 👍👍👍
Glad you enjoy the channel content.
I love Audio, audio is life ❤😊
hey sir love your rviews so much thx for true reviews thank you, lots of love and succes to you and your family.
Thank you ❤️
Great video. You word things very well and I actually really agree with your points too
Glad you enjoy the channel content.
100% agree, wish I wait for your review before pulling the trigger 😆
Lesson learned lol!
I 100% agree with this review. Great takes.
Awesome 👍 Thank you.
Hey Dave, Linsoul also sent me this one for review. I got very surprised with the sound, and found this a great budget allrounder. I completely agree with your points, thanks a lot for your work.
My pleasure, you're welcome.
Yes indeed, very solid budget all around listen.
How does the Truthear Hola compare to the Cadenza? :)
Sorry haven't heard the Hola.
@@athenovae neither do I, it’s on the way to my ears 😊 I will update you here once I receive it.
@@marcelodosec looking forward to that! ^-^
Wow, thats great collection back there, Dave. 😁 Maybe sometime you would share some of your favorite gears in 2022. Maybe your daily Iem, Headphones and DAP/DAC.
You Rock !!! 😁👍
Thank you for the kind words. Thank you for the suggestion .
Thanks Dave. I wasn't aware of the T2 nice and small.
It's just another great review.
Thank you 💕
I feel these improve when playing through a balanced source such as my HiBy R5 Saber but your review is dead on as always.
Great review, thanx. I am thinking to upgrade from my 7hz zeros as my left side unit lost the output by 30-40%!!!
Oof sorry to hear that.
Ear crud!
Thanks for another great review. I have watched your other IEM reviews, and this is the only one that I watched that you did not use another eartip for your sound testing. I love good bass but I do not like harshness on mids and treble. How does this compare to the TinHifi C3? And the T2 that you recommended, is it just the normal T2? I think there's another T2, the DLC was it?
The T2 mentioned is the original.
I change tips only if necessary for fit, seal or sonic improvement. I always give stock tips the best chance to impress and I always provide reasons why I changed tips.
Tin Hifi C3 in house, review on schedule along with 20 other products.
Ka-Ching!!! TU, saved me money again.🙂 There's just too many and frankly, how many do we really need? Nice review, Dave.
My pleasure, you're welcome. Exactly, the market is getting flooded with options.
I absolutely luv my Linsoul TIN T2s. The best $45 I ever spent.
Hola comunidad! Alguien sabe si hay un adaptador bluetooth en el Mercado que funcionen con estos iem?? Vi que kz tiene unos, habrá para los kiwi cadenza??
Thanks so much for your review. Personally, everything you describe as cons are things I actually like, therefore on that basis, ordered a pair - will report back! 🎉
Yup seriously Dave - - thank you so much, you describe exactly what I'm seeking 😂
Look forward to hearing your impression.
Glad you found the review helpful. Thank you for watching, commenting and subscribing.
@@TheHonestAudiophile They just arrived so far so good. Replaced the cable and tips with different foam, very different characteristics. Certainly a bargain
Awesomeness! Glad you enjoy them.
I just got one for a friend and read the white sticker on the outer box that says Thieaudio on it. Does yours as well? 😮
Hello! As a newbie, I truly appreciate the kinda content you're putting across. Keep up the good work. :)
Would you recommend bl 03 over cadenzas?
The Blon will have a lot more bass, more treble and mids are similar. The Blon doesn't have as much detail retrieval and resolution. The Kiwi Ear is fuller, less aggressive and fatiguing and better detailed and resolving.
I recommend the Tangzu Wan'er over both as it has more accurate tone and timbre, is just as good with details and resolution and is more neutral and natural reproduction.
I'm glad you enjoy the channel content. Thanks for the kind words, much appreciated.
@@TheHonestAudiophile appreciate the inputs, as you are aware. This hobby like many others is driven by preferences. I was actually looking for that fun and active feel in my next iem pick. I own the holas too, so I feel they do a good job as a neutral IEM.
Which is why I was considering the blon bl03 or the cadenzas. I really wish I could try them before I could buy them. Unfortunately that ain't an option for me right now. Nonetheless contents like yours, help make such choices a bit easier.
@_Arun_R look forward to hearing your impressions of whichever you choose.
Good afternoon Dave …listening at work…..the down market is getting crowded.
Yes indeed, very crowded
Hi Dave! Would you recommend the Cadenza or the Hexa if I already have the EW200 and the S12 OG ?
Id take the Hexa between those two unless you want a warm, bassy presentation of the Cadenza.
Hi! I have these headphones but they seem to be a little too big for me (I'm not talking about tips, just whole headphones), after a few hours or using them every day, my auricles hurt. Do you recommend any smaller headphones of similar quality? Will e.g. Moondrop Aria be more comfortable?
Different type of fit but they are smaller but heavier.
@@TheHonestAudiophile thank you!
@@mmmrozko My pleasure, you're welcome.
Very nice review.. true to your youtube channel very honest!! Can you recommend me an iem worth 75usd im not a bass head or treble head i dont like to much bass and i hate piercing ear ringing highs or treble.. can you suggest me a iem. Thank you in advance. Honestly your my favorite iem reviewer aside from crinacle and gizaudio.. more power to you and more blessings to come 😊
Tin Hifi T3 Plus
DUNU Titan S
I liked my Cadenza so much I gave it away. Lots of good bass but has a strange timbre to me in the uper mids/treble. Noticed it on the initial attack of vocals mostly, but I did get used to it. I prefer my 7HZ Zero
Thank you for the impressions. The upper mids/lower treble elevation does impact timbre a bit.
After 2-3 days, the harshness go away.
@@TheHonestAudiophile Did you run these for a while - did you find as some others did that break-in is needed?
@johnmcvicker6728 I have a review process I follow, if I found that "burn-in" effected the sound I would've mentioned in the video.
www.thehonestaudiophile.com/post/honest-audiophile-review-process
Love your reviews. Can you compare this to the Khan from HBB please.
Khan in house, review is on the schedule along with 20 other products.
I'll be waiting for it, thank you very much sir.
I mainly bought these to use in bed before I go to sleep. I'm a little concerned they won't fit comfortably but the only way to find out is when they arrive. As long as they don't give me listening fatigue, sound decent, and don't gouge my ears, I'll be happy.
Since I listen so quietly at night, a lot of what are generally considered drawbacks like heavy bass and sparkly treble actually work for my application.
Look forward to hearing your impressions. I don't sleep or sit/lay in my bed with IEM in my ears, curious to your findings.
How are they going?
@@nomiguda I use them for 5-6 hours every night with spinfit c100 tips and my ES100. Extremely comfortable and last I checked are down to $30. I actually fell asleep with them in last night and occasionally I've slept on them in a tangled mess but don't care because they're so cheap. Sound quality is great for listening to music while doing things or watching movies/tv. Has good bass thump and I was shocked how low they could play. They won't replace my OH10 but they did an admirable job.
Overall best buy I've made along with the ES100.
@@spamcan9208 Glad to hear you're happy, thanks for taking the time to reply. I got them for $35 but as I went through the official website not amazon I avoided $11 of shipping to nz and 5.25 USD in NZ sales tax (shipping is free on their website internationally, they did not apply sales tax to my order of any kind) so while I paid $5 more I'm happy with $35 delivered to my door. Just got to wait a couple weeks for them to show up!
I mostly agree with you. Especially in the soundstage department they arent really great, especially in front back width. Imaging is not good imo but for the price thats expected. I really like the timbre but thats obv. very personal.
However i dont really like the treble its a bit boring (eq helps a lot tho). Bass is nice... Not very detailed but nice. But im definitely not missing upper bass / lower treble impact, i actually quite like male vocals with them. Very nice review tho, big thumbs up! 👍👍👍
Thanks for the impressions
How do these compare detail-wise to the Chu's?
I haven't heard the Chu since I reviewed but if memory serves me well; the Chu is brighter, hotter and has less bass but has a wider, deeper stage. Detail retrieval and resolution is slightly better on the Cadenza.
I recently listened to these and fully agree with you. Unfortunately I feel like a lot of IEMs are merging towards this style of mids/pinna gain. I prefer a more linear approach, similar to the P1 Max and Dunu SA6 Ultra. All that considered, these are a pretty impressive warm set for the price.
For the price they are decent.
how is this compared to moondrop SSP for technicalities??
I haven't heard the Moondrop SSP since ai reviewed it and I honestly don't recall.
@@TheHonestAudiophile thanks for the reply. I used 3-4 20$ for 4+ years and thought to go for 40$ this time .since ssp is also in this range i had expectations for it .
between these and the Fiio X Jade Audio JH3 which is better?
I would give the upper hand to Cadenza for it's technical abilities.
@@TheHonestAudiophile thanks for the recommendation :)
@@Dylan-co7vy my pleasure, you're welcome
Dave, did hbb send his qkz Khan to you?
The Khan was provided by Linsoul.
@@TheHonestAudiophile yes, he ask Linsoul to send a few for fellow reviewers, looking forward to hear ur thought dave
Is the T3+ worth the extra money in your opinion?
Yes, the T3 Plus has more accurate tone, timbre, note weight, better treble extension, air, wider stage, deeper stage and more accurate imaging.
@@TheHonestAudiophile Thank you for the feedback
My pleasure, you're welcome.
Hi, is this still worth getting today? Love the design !
If you like a bassy v-shape presentation then sure.
@@TheHonestAudiophile thanks! Also how does this compare to the Sony wf xm4s in the bass department?
@uchihasasuke7630 sorry haven't heard the Sony XM4s
@@TheHonestAudiophileah alright. I was actually thinking of gifting one for a friend who owns an er2se and a xm4. He has talked about this set and how he's curious to try one after seeing all the positive reviews. Sadly where we live there are no places to demo iems, headphones and the like. My worry is if this iem would be atleast a side grade to what he already has. The er2se definitely would be better in almost every aspect but I hope the kiwis would be able to do the "fun" stuff better. He likes bass(not basshead levels). So I'd like to know if this is a good option or are there better options to complement what he already has at this price.
@uchihasasuke7630 Cadenza is a good starter/introduction for your friend.
👍👍
Have you or anyone in the comments tried both these and the KZ ZS10 Pro X? I’m wondering if one is noticeably ‘better’ than the other
👍
3 cheers for T2
Hip, Hip, Hooray! Hip, Hip, Hooray! Hip, Hip, Hooray!
these things sound better to my ears than my lcd2c that i returned from amazon.
Is this iem for basshead ?
It would be adequate for a basshead but I think that thinner note weight in the upper bass and lower mids might not give the fullness some seek.
@@apollomoonlandings for me the HBB x QKZ has no soundstage at all. I like the bass tho, but would give up some of it, for more clarity in the mid and treble are. u think the cadenza would be a better choice?
Cadenza vs. Truthear Hola?
Sorry haven't heard the Hola.
@@TheHonestAudiophile It seems like the Hola's graphic is pretty much equal to Kiwi Cadenza. I wonder if they are cheap version of each other or worth having em both. I'm after an accurate soundstage and also flat/natural response as I'm live sound tech. Big fan of your reviews btw. We have same preferences that I can trust without a shadow of doubt. I'm looking forward to hearing from you when you got Hola's in hand. Greetings from Brazil
I'm glad you enjoy the channel content and find it helpful.
Agreed; however, I do love the sizzle with some fat bass.
Glad you enjoy the Cadenza, they are a fun all-around sound IEM on a slim budget.
P1 max is great
Totally agree 💯
got my P1 Max last week and have already put 30 hours on them. Really a nice set
Awesome 👍 Glad you enjoy the P1 Max
@@christiharris292 nice 👍
P1 Max takes some power to bring out it's full potential.
btw plz make on waner. if u can.
Tangzu Waner on the review schedule.
@@TheHonestAudiophile can i know when??? 😳
A couple of weeks
Tangzu Wan'er review next? 😁
Sorry, I don't have the Tangzu Wan'er in for review at this time.
The bass is there, but it's no punch. These IEMs are great for clean profiles, such as jazz or deeply layered recordings.
