How strange, in the back of my mind I always remember hearing the intro LOL. I guess I got so used to hearing it that even when you don't say it, I still hear it at the start of the video. haha.
P.S. I always assume that there is some sort of Battle Cruiser flagship in space (like in the campaign) so that's where the supply depo drops from. just a guess.
Lowko, not gonna lie, your intro always makes me smile. It's just so bright , warm and wholesome. It's like 'hey, welcome to the game, welcome to my place, let's have fun buddy, and let's have a great day!' It's so earnest it's impossible not to love. 100000/10 intro. It's kinda like how people Love 'Top of the mornin!' so much.

EMPs and disruptions should be about the same difficulty to micro against. Right now, it is easy to micro away from distruptors and impossible to micro away from EMPs

This honestly looked like Byun was snatching defeat from the jaws of victory here, there were so many winning opportunities for him but he just didn't jump on them.
EMP does more damage to protoss than Psi Storm does to anything, losing up to 100 shields on units is so painful, and makes defending really tough because it can remove the energy of shield batteries too
EMP is also instant - you can realistically walk out of Storm to take significantly less damage.
Oh right and as a side-effect of being instant, EMP stacks: you can hit the same units with multiple EMPs at basically the same moment and get that many times more damage - meanwhile, Storm is coded so that two Storms overlapping does one Storm of damage.
Anyway as I keep saying: we should add an ability on the Sentry which splashes a small area and every unit in that area has their shields (not energy) become very briefly immune to EMP damage. Call it "Shield Stabilizer". It would add counterplay to EMP with high skill ceiling on both sides (P must predict or spot incoming EMP grenades, T must predict or bait Shield Stabilizers), tactical and strategic tradeoffs (P: how many Sentries do you add to have more shield stabilizer casts? T: prioritize Sentries as EMP targets to strip energy?), and several new balance options (tweak shield stabilizer cooldown, energy cost, area, etc).
Good idea, and you know what? Guardian shield could have had this feature. Since it reduces incoming damage, so it could prevent the units from being hit by EMP. Even just for one time per Guardian shield. That would still be enough.

Lowko I'm suffering from a severe lack of mirror matches. Now that's not to say a TvT or PvP is as interesting as a TvP usually but occasionally there is an itch. I tried looking through your channel but couldn''t find any mirror match in the last 40ish+ videos. SC2 is so interesting to watch for me in part because of the variety in matchups.

things they didn't nerf: ghost, EMP, marine stutter. Toss still screwed.
I don't mind Marine stutter, but I consider it unacceptable that Protoss doesn't have something comparable (Oracle attack comes closest). Zerg finally got a Hydra buff that does this a couple patches back (when they lowered how soon during the attack animation the attack actually happens). I think a mid-game or late-game upgrade which either does the same for Stalkers (and gives them a hitscan beam instead of a projectile) or which lets Oracles also attack air would be a good equivalent with comparable micro potential and skill ceiling.

Benefits:
1. micro counterplay to EMP which rewards both APM and decision-making on both sides (P must predict or spot incoming EMP grenades, T must predict or bait Shield Stabilizers),
2. tactical and strategic tradeoffs (P: how many Sentries do you add to have more shield stabilizer casts? T: prioritize Sentries as EMP targets to strip energy?), and
3. several new balance options (tweak Shield Stabilizer cooldown, energy cost, area, etc).
Suggestions to adjust EMP
It shouldn’t take energy if there’s a shield - so you have to knock down a Protoss spellcasters shields to Emp the units energy.
So you’d need a double cast of Emp to take out a high templars energy for instance.
Guardian shield protects units under it from Emp (but the Emp collapses the guardian shield) - would also make sentry more valuable in late game
Protoss could have an upgrade that reduces the effectiveness of Emp (shield remodulation maybe).
Also, I think it’s interesting that Protoss doesn’t have a damage dealing ‘mine’ like the burrowed baneling or the Terran mine. Instead of the stasis ward how about the disintegration ward (maybe as a research upgrade at the fleet beacon). Instead of just freezing enemy units, the ward damages them over the duration of the effect
Just some thoughts/suggestions and would need to see balance effects.
I think the first one would be pretty interesting. Terran would need to make sure they'll have enough EMP power to disable protoss spellcasters. As it stands currently EMP kinda looks like this decision which very rarely is not worth doing against protoss, so I think that could make the game more fun!
Not to sound negative but your first idea would pretty much break the game. When they nerfed Feedback ages ago it was not nearly as bad because HT could still do the role they were designed for (drain energy & deal damage) with one cast. It takes a while to build up 150 energy for two EMPs, so Terran would need more cost, supply and production time (meaning less Marauders) put into Ghosts to do the same anti-caster role they're designed for. Terran would also have little defense against Prism Storms from the Protoss army. They can't just make more Vikings without making Bio even weaker with less Medivacs. Terran Bio production has a synergy where changes have big implications.
So its likely the colossal nerf, probably not necessary considering PvT balance at pro level over the past 3 months is averaging a perfect 50%.
The second (Guardian Shield) is quite cool & would allow for a more interesting interaction, providing it collapsed any over-lapping Guardian Shields & not just one.
Design of SC2 officially ended a while back - we're not going to see new units but they could fix the clunkiness of the Disruptor for example.

(I particularly suspect that EMP collapsing Guardian Shield would actually end up being a nerf to Protoss, because that -2 damage on every attack is *huge* against Terran bio balls, so an EMP that cancels Guardian Shield as soon as its cast can easily do more damage to a Protoss army than the EMP shield damage).
