back in my day, a street stock had a two barrel cast iron intake, with a shitty carb, and stock cast iron exhaust manifolds, and a factory cam,no rollers, etc,but nobody checked the rocker arm ratio, you were allowed to lock the rear end, but no matter what brand most tracks let you use ford nine inch rear axle,s, and a baffled pan if it looked stock, these days street stocks look like stock bodied late models with 4 barrel carbs, aluminum intakes, and headers and are making 400+ hp.

Watching this makes me really wish the DuQuoin Mile was used more than once a year.
