All the diamonds and shoulder pads couldn’t make up for crystals run of bad luck since marrying Blake. Being kidnapped and replaced by a woman who looks exactly like you alone would have anyone else committed.
You could tell they were trying to immitate the Ewing family dinners on Dallas here. Also, for a story line they wanted to wash away and forget the Space Ship Colbys story got more then a few mentions this season. Wish theyed followed through with it and given us some kind of resolve.
"Dallas" inspired "Dynasty", that's true. But, I thought "Dynasty" was the best nighttime soap throughout the 1980s. All the others were too boring, I just could not get hooked as I did with "Dynasty".
@@Mr.EmeraldTheGreen I think most people that saw Season 9 loved it, but many fans had given up during 7 & 8. Season 9 proved that Fallon's uneven depiction on the Colbys had nothing to do with Emma Samms, and everything to do with the writing.

They dangle the UFO story line in front of our noses with no intentions of seeing it through. That story line. I also like how the dinner butler became the same dude in The Reunion who was overseeing the auction. Great writing and continuity!
Krystle developed a brain tumor and had to be sent away to Switzerland to have it removed. I think she got the tumor when Alexis pounded her on the head with her hat during the lily pond fight.
@@KingofPepsi The injury Krystle sustained first happened in Season 02 when she was thrown from the horse and then she hit her head again in a Season 07 car accident.
They actually did address it and not ignore it Fallon joined to support group with people who had similar experiences and Jeff couldn't handle it. It's what led to their second divorce

How did it "kill," let alone even harm the show? It was one of the best Dynasty stories ever. The previous Seasons 7 and 8 are where things became really inconsistent.
