    I've had an Anatol Titan in my classroom (I teach high school graphics) for about five years now. It has been such a fantastic machine for us! I hope it treats you well.

    So glad to see your company growing. I just discovered your channel a couple of months ago and I really enjoy watching your videos. You have done a great job showing the actual labor involved in running a screen printing shop. Definitely not a 9 to 5, M-F job but running your own company is a 24-7 venture. While other channels I've seen want to promote their channel by telling how much money can be made by running your own shirt business, you make it real and evident that it is not easy but is a labor of love. If it's not your passion, it'll never succeed. My first job out of high school (1987) was at a screen printing shop and I loved it. Been doing it ever since. Eagerly awaiting the video of you firing that thing up and making your first print. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us.

      Thanks Steve! I really appreciate that. It's definitely a labor of love. Can't say we'll reach millionaire status any time soon screen printing, but money isn't everything. We get to work, for the most part, on our own schedule. It is a lot of hard work and can be stressful, but I couldn't be happier doing what we do for a living. That's awesome. I think those who really enjoy it stick with it and those that aren't willing to put in the work or aren't patient tend to get out pretty quick. Working on the video now of it up, so keep an eye out for that!

    Back in 2000 when I started printing we had 3 14 color 3 station Anatol presses. They were good and ahead of their time. They said they were so fast that they needed 3 stations. You could have two loaders and one puller or visa versa. Most shops stick with M&R so right now I run a 14 color gauntlet 3. Awesome to see they are still around.

    I have a Titan M 8/6 that we got last May. I can relate to the pushing and pulling the pallets around. We had a borrowed forklift that was leaking hydraulic fluid everywhere and a pallet jack that wouldn't lift. I can also relate to having kids playing around my shop.

    Get that press jack up as high as you can get it. The higher the better. I'm using thick square tubing under the feet to get at least 3 extra inches in height. It makes it easier to get under the press to clean or do maintenance, not to mention printing so you don't have to bend your back too much

    Love your video! Love that you're making it happen in a small space. Manny helped assemble my Horizon Mini in a very tiny California garage. (I also promised him 90% of the royalties if my video went viral haha.) Can you tell me how to get in touch with him? He moved away from California several years ago and I lost touch. I have a repair that I'm considering doing on my own and I was thinking I could ask him a couple of questions before I start. I called Anitol but they want me to talk to a tech in Poland. I'd much rather talk to Manny.

    Right on, congrats! Game changer for sure. Just curious, how come you didn’t go with the volt? I’ve had mine for a couple months now and it’s been blowing my mind. So smooth and quiet. No more compressor and chiller. So stoked I moved from blue to RED❤️

    • @mikeydesignssilkscreen473
      @mikeydesignssilkscreen473  4 роки тому +1

      That's awesome! Congrats! I wanted to retain the compressor in the shop for air tools for personal projects down the road. It doesn't use that much air. The heads are electric, and has a servo indexer. The only difference really is that the lift is air as well as the heads. To me, there's just something cool about the sound of the air lift, and I tend to take things in steps when it comes to business purchases. So who knows... down the road we may upgrade to a volt. :)

    • @kylemaligro
      @kylemaligro 4 роки тому

      Mikey Designs & Silk Screen Yup can see how you can use some air in the shop. Use this if you want, but I couldn’t handle how loud the beep was so I wrapped it with a coozie to muffle the sound. Soo much better. 🤙🏽

    • @mikeydesignssilkscreen473
      @mikeydesignssilkscreen473  4 роки тому

      @@kylemaligro It's a little on the loud side, but we probably need to keep it loud because the Shop Gnome has the tendency to get close to the press and makes me nervous. She crawled under our last press and lucky wasn't hurt too bad.

    • @mikeydesignssilkscreen473
      @mikeydesignssilkscreen473  4 роки тому

      Thanks, Rhy!!! Senad has got it! The Titan is more of an entry level press that's easier on the wallet. So it uses some air. They do have all air models which are that much more affordable.
