My parents bought this pc in 1995. It was our first pc which was purchased at "nobody beats the wiz" yea that far back. Not only was this a very very good pc for its time it came with tons of free software including simcity 2000, magic carpet, load runner, microsoft works, encarta 95, buttons for dos to organize all of your dos games. computers these days come with nothing, i still have the pc and everything that came with it
I had one of these come as a repair and I ended up upgrading it to a 133mhz, 64MB ram, ISA 56k modem, and 12GB HD. installed Win98SE and AOL 5.0, office 2000 and a laserprinter. I think the client used it for anther 2 years (new PC's where at P3 600mhz at the time)
Dude I actually have "Jumpstart 1st grade" (2000 version) installed on my Dell Optiplex 755 Running Windows 7 (32-bit)! and the game runs...Flawlessly.
Something I love to do is to see if they can go on the internet still. Two sites to look up is 95isaliveDOTcom and vetuswareDOTcom. Both of which can be reached from any browser loaded on those computers. the second is an awesome site to download abandon-ware programs to your computer directly! Definitely would be cool to see these old computers on the internet again.
No, it does not include the TV or FM cards and as for the sound card, it's now working a lot better. Something wasn't right with the Windows installation. I have since reformatted and installed a fresh copy of Windows 95 and the sound card sounds much better now.
Does this computer have the FM radio/TV tuner card in it or any of that other special hardware? Something really strange is going on with the sound card, I didn't like what it was doing during that Canyon song, it didn't sound healthy at all.
wow I love your computer rock on dude I like it because I have a windows 98 emechines but windows 95 looks older than 98 I like 95 too and 98 looks more graphics on it so I like windows 95 my windows 98 is so slow

When I made this video, I didn't know it at the time, but I can confirm that it's 75MHz.
Do your Value Village locations still sell computers? I've never been able to find a single computer from any of my Value Village stores.
Do you still have the Green Eggs and Ham living book on there? Because if you do, I would love if you took a closer look at it.
