- Today we celebrate moving back downstairs after the renovation of our kitchen and living room is complete. Getting the Sofa back in was a challenge, we will let Nick tell the story in the vlog.
Maxine is on the hunt for some special Disney merchandise released on May 4th. We search high and low in Disney Springs before heading out to Hollywood Studios to find the illusive items.
To round off the day we invited our followers in town for a meet up at Stargazers in Disney Springs. Of course its the Happy Hour and a chance for me to pull a prank on the lodge guys is a bonus.

What a lovely meet and greet. Glad you finally got the mugs. Husband and I were just talking about our water heater and how we are pushing our luck with the age of it.
Insurers in Florida are refusing to cover them if they get very old

Just 'popped' in to say, that I really enjoyed your Tokyo vlogs, and pleased your trip home, was a little better than the outward journey!
This is the first vlog I've seen that's inside your home, I know I'm way behind. And what a lovely home you have. Obviously not viewed the befores, but whatever you've done, it looks fab! My Florida days are over now, an 'oldie,' solo traveller, sight loss in one eye, and a fall a year ago, where I broke both my hands. This unfortunately has left me with a form of PTSD, and apart from once a week, when I get a minicab both ways to my local supermarket, I don't venture out the rest of the time.
Your vlogs, and the Lodge Guys, are really helping me through. I've been very fortunate in my life, and travelled to the US on many occasions. Spending a lot of time in SF and LA. Florida, D/World on 6 occasions, and my first trip to Florida, was to Fort Lauderdale.
Now I live vicariously through you guys. You both seem a genuinely lovely couple, and it would have been a pleasure to meet you. Apologies for 'wittering' on. I love the US, and could 'wax lyrical' all day. However, it's 02.03 am so off to bed!
Thanks for “popping in “ Marylyn at such a late hour. Sorry to hear about your fall and the PTSD it caused . We have done a lot at the home, it was an ex rental home that had not been touched in 16 years so needed a lot of TLC , and more to come. You will also see us showing up on the Lodge Guys vlogs and vice-versa in the near future, our lodgers :-)

Reminds me when i was Britannia airways crew, we stayed over a week at a time, made some great friends, visited Disney 250 + times.. You guys are so special, Thank you for bringing happy memories back xx

Loved watching this one tonight. Can’t believe while watching a couple were from the Isle of Wight, this is where we live also. We have only been back from Orlando a few weeks sadly we got covid 2 days after so missed 6 days out of 12. We wanted to meet the lodge guys but they were just about to go home to U.K. and didn’t get to meet Barry or Maxine this time 😢 maybe next ❤

Max has her new backpack on! I love it. I like the Star Wars mugs, but I have a problem finding a place to display them properly 😂. I can’t believe what bad luck you guys were having tracking down the mugs, but I’m glad Starbucks came to the rescue!
We use our cups so just stuff them in the cup cupboard

Nothing in July, we are spending time with family in the UK

Hope you don’t mind me asking, and will respect if you can’t, when you started your UA-cam channel was it just a hobby or did you have it in mind if it took off it would be your full time job ?
It was during Covid and just a way to keep me occupied when my work travel went from 60% to zero. Give me something to focus on instead of stressing . It’s still a hobby, we only film on weekends
