Amazing. You made a box extremely light and with that wide flange easy to build in a board. I,m looking forward to see the speed needle/foilboard. And its one board??
I'm tired just watching that. Fascinating as always. Your mind works in magical and mysterious ways. Can't wait to see the board but I don't know how you find the time to do all this stuff. Perhaps that's not time lapse but how fast you actually work. 🤟
You got skills! I am 245 lbs and have a Bic Techno 185D (dagger board / deep tuttle box / 185 litre / 12.5kg) that I am not using too much? Is that too big of a board or will I damage the deep tuttle box with my weight? I know that it is not ideal with the length at 293 cm & 79 cm width. Just curious if it would work and should I go ahead and attach a foil? You really know your stuff. Thanks.
Awesome stuff as usual Rob! Tell me, where and how do you locate your screws to secure the foil onto the board, I don't see any holes or sleeves for the fin/foil?
Rob, why did you decide to build so deep tuttle box (9 cm)?! Do you think that standard deep tuttle (6 cm) is not strong enough for the foil? I am worried now, because I am finishing my first foil. Board is also self built, mostly based on your videos.
Awesome that you build things yourself. Don't worry, a normal deep tuttle box is strong enough, but an deeper one is stronger. My own foils have an deeper tuttle. That is why this box is also deeper. You can probably imagine that a box that is two centimeters deeper, it can also handle more forces. But all brands now use a regular deep tuttle box and these are strong enough if strengthened.
Just in time mate, thanks for the content!
See you next month!
Cheers from Brazil.
i realize Im pretty off topic but do anybody know of a good website to watch new series online ?
