Nadal had won 10 Grand Slams already when he was 25 years of age. That says it all.. Federer, Nadal and DJokovic are from an entirely different league of Tennis Players.
Absolutely
@@lopamudraray4571 he is now 36 years old... Means in 11 years he won 12 titles (AU open 2022 due to Djocovic absence) ...most of French open every year... So he isn't complete player
Indeed

55:27 it’s literally the only time I’ve seen sneezing tennis player
Today in Wimbledon everyone with rhinitis was sneezing because of cold
Lol, IKR! I sometimes sneeze a lot when I play, but never seen anyone else sneeze 🤔
At that time covid did not existed lmao
Lol
The Nerve to piss off Rafa on court. What guts. Boris is right.. he shouldn’t be messed with. He is the biggest fighter and aggression helps his game. Rafa showed who the Boss is.
How did that work for him in Acapulco? Provoking Rafa isn't nec. a bad thing. I'd rather see players stand up to him than the polite folding that most players do. And Rafa even admitted that he played a bad service game in the second set because Nick got in his head. If I was Nick I would keep doing that. 3-4 against Rafa for a player who hardly takes the sport seriously aint too shabby!
@@telmolicious "hardly takes the sport seriously". if he hardly takes it seriously why would he get so worked up? he acts like he does not take it seriously but it clearly means a lot to him otherwise he would not discuss so much with the umpire.
@@alessandrosozzi2447 He discusses so much with umpire to get mad. To get angry and use the anger as the fuel for his game.
CST Acapulco is not as important as wimbledon...
CST He takes the sport very seriously. He wanted hide his weaknesses in tennis by acting like dont really care about tennis. He has a big ego but at the same time he is definitely not one of 20 greatest tennis player ever. But cant admit he is talented, but there are too many talented players who didnt win anything at all.
The amount of self control Nadal had is unbelievable.
So true
The amount of time it took Nadal to serve is also unbelievable

I loved Rafas reaction. He didn't have to say anything. The non handshake and post 3rd set and match reaction was more than enough. He let his racquet do the talking. FINIS. Kyrgios is a phenomenal talent and not 100% incorrect, but if he wanted war he got it all right. I want to see Rafa this fired up every time he sees his face on the other side of the court. Period.

Kyrios gasping for breath because he's not as match fit as other players. He admits to not doing everything he needs to do off court. Talent without hard work is pointless. Eventually the talent alone won't be enough.
Name Change. Eh ask Nalbandian. He wasn’t an unsuccessful player. It depends on his goals that’s all
@@trgjtk182 Nalbandian was the most talented ever. He would have won everything if he had a brain.
Talent is hard work.
Hard work aside, Kyrgios wishes he was half as talented as Nalbandian. Kyrgios is over hyped even talent wise. There are far more talented players on the tour.
@@AmithBiligere
Yeah. He has the occasional brilliance, but his talent is not completely developed. To get it completely developed he needs to put in hard work, since hard work is what creates and develops talent.
His shots needs better reproduction and precision.
He has the power, but to get it to Big 4/Nalbandian/Wawrinka/Thiem level, he needs to marry that to reproduction (consistency) and precision.

I’m so happy that Nadal won! Justice has been made!
F off no one cares about your opinion
Nick woke the dragon and couldn't handle the intensity. Rafa talks about always having doubt.. after Nick hit Rafa at the net, he started a fire in Rafa that scorched any sense of doubt in his head.
When did nick hit Rafa? Not attacking just wondering
The ball hit Nadal's Racket

My first Nick Kygrios match I ever watched live! It was a great experience!
I'm sure it was!
Nadal is the goat of tennis
this match was electrifying! could not take your eyes off it
LOVE THIS EPIC BATTLE!!! Two Great Warriors out there in the area. Battling until one individual cannot withstand the beat-down anymore. The RPM's on the ball is enough to break any mortal's arm.
Kyrigos is a great warrior? He always caves under pressure.
Can't watch this match the same way after learning why Nick actually wore that sleeve on his right arm. So glad he had a mental turnaround.
Self-harmiing?
its compress for tennis EIbow oooI !!
I timed Nadals serves with a stopwatch and he is well under the 25-30 seconds limit. Kyrgios claims are not valid and he behaves absolutely disgusting, spitting on the court, bad language. he is not the great talent he may thinks he is, but even if he was, that still doesn't let him behave the way he does.
i have tried that too ... multiple times...and there are many times when NovakDjokovich takes for ever and much more than the limit to accomplish a serve... nobody bothers him... its funny these people...their timers and their talk...they cant do much so they do all this...
The limit in GS is 20s between points, I read somewhere. So Kyrgois' claim is valid.
Kyrgois other complaint is when he is serving, he has to wait for Nadal; Nadal should be playing to the server's speed.
@@tennistan463 25seconds is official limit.
And the winning point in third set was def a code violation...Nick would have been looking at a second serve

These commentators are entirely too forgiving of Kyrgios' antics.
isn't it lovely to see how Nadal has just ignored the blabbermouth in the first set???
Nadal forehand and backhand skill just awesome to see

The legend and the punk
To Nick's credit, there was a 4 and a half minute gap between the end of the 1st set and the start of the 2nd. The rule is 2 minutes.
Yes but that rule is not being followed.
Never.
Because of TV comercials as well.
Not when Nadal takes a break, not when Federer takes it or Kyrgios.
That has nothing to do with this situation.
@@jonbonesmahomes7472 Still he was doing the same thing every time Nick was serving. Rafa was trying to make Nick lose his temper.

I love the dejected look on Kyrgious’ face when he loses a point. Rafa is so tough and such a beast, with all the drama this clown is creating it still didn’t bother him one bit. Congratulations Rafa!
I agree.
Didn’t bother him one bit? Nadal was on the verge of tears

Tennis is such a mental sport and Kyrgios is a prime example of this. Capable of losing to a top college player on one of the days he decides to implode but gets up for the top guys and often beats them. Except for when he plays Federer who he clearly idolize’s too much to truly compete against.
even though he beat Federer first time
U mean Murray
If Nick Kyrgios played with a better mindset and attitude, he'd be a really great player. He has a lot of talent, I hope he can put it all together, Ik the guy has a lot of ups and downs but he has a lot of potential

Well, he doesn't take this too serious. Said it often. He's an entertainer.
@@lucidlagomorph5809 There's no need to offend him. He's just not into tennis seriously.
@@catwoman1149 how tf can someone not take a sport serious and make it big. I think it's an excuse when he found he had no chance of beating the best so he just says he doesn't take it serious.
@@catwoman1149 Calling the umpire a discrace, not apologising for hitting the ball at Rafa which all players do, getting unsportsmanlike conduct violations? Nick is a douchebag
@@catwoman1149 actually he takes it more seriously whenever he plays vs the big 3, and he try harded this game. Whenever he is vs the big 3 he will try hard, I'm glad Nadal showed him some humility.
The thing that is so frustrating is that Nick could be a great player.
I think Nicks problem is resentment for his ability.
He showed promise as a basketball player but he showed more in tennis so he chose tennis. I think he wishes his talents were the other way around, so he takes this anger and resentment and contempt for the game on court.
I think he's been told how talented he is, but no one has really drilled into him the benefits of discipline and respect. I think he wants to be as driven as Nadal and Federer and be as beloved as them but when it comes down to it he doesn't know how or care to put in the work. So it frustrates him that his talent is not enough to win against players who are also talented- but have the drive.
