It's so sad that we have to do all this at such a young age....alopecia is a really frustrating problem 😔. Whereas my grandparent's and my Mom and Dad never had this problem before their 50s 😕 . Why am I suffering from this at just 25?????😭😭😭😭😭😭😔😔😔
😔😔 So sorry you are dealing with this. Unfortunately, autoimmune disorders in general seem to be on the rise in our generation. While I definitely think sleep, stress, and diet have a lot to do with it, that doesn't completely solve the problem and it is tough to pinpoint and manage. Please know that you are supported and not alone in going through this! ❤️❤️❤️ Sending you healing vibes!
HI thank you so much for doing this video. I am in the process of purchasing some but didn't how much to purchase and if it comes with the double sided tape and after the 4 weeks do they come off easily or do you have to do something to remove them? Also, can you reuse the same hair and just replace the tape or do you have to be purchasing hair every 4-6 weeks? Thanks again
Hi! You can order the double sided tape at uniwigs also or they have it on Amazon. To remove, I use the Walker Tape C-22 solvent on my scalp and the hair pieces. Then wash the hair and reuse. I let my scalp breathe for a few days but it doesn't damage the area. I've had regrowth in all the areas I've used the patches on. I have had some of the pieces for 2 years and they are still going strong! I just repurpose them for different bald patches. :)
You use a wig adhesive remover. Just put some on a cotton swab and kinda soak it in for a few minutes. Then you gently swab and pull back as you go along the inside of it. It didn't damage my bio hair at all! :) Just give it a good wash afterward to get all the remover off.
To me it seems like a professional has to put them on. Nothing easy to do it for the first time because one has to shape it to the form of each spot. Besides how long does it stay on the head?
Yes, honestly I was super skeptical when I got them haha it is a little intimidating. But my cousin helped me and it actually wasn't bad at all! The hardest part is getting the right shape - you definitely need a second person to trace the spot accurately. But they provide you with the clear tracing thing and it is kinda concave so it forms well to your head. From there you cut out the template and then trace it onto both the adhesive and the hair patch. If you don't want to trace twice, you could also use wig glue instead of adhesive. Glue can be a little messier but then it would match exactly to the spot. My husband has also helped me and it turned out great. They can stay on for over a week. I usually take mine off after 5-7 days to give my scalp a break. I went to the beach, worked out, rode bikes, showered etc. They're like part of your own hair!
yes! I've used mine multiple times! you could start with the small patch and see if you like it. I seriously barely wear toppers anymore; I love the patches!
Hi sorry I just saw this comment!! You take it off with a wig adhesive remover. It's easy! And then use the remover to also get all of the adhesive off of the hair pieces. I had to kinda soak/leave it setting on there a few minutes and then it came right off. Wash well with a good wig friendly shampoo and then you can reuse multiple times! The hardest part is recutting new tape but if you save your "template," it's super quick. :) :) I keep mine on for about 5 days and then take off to give my scalp a break for a few days when I'm not doing much.
hi, I've never tried it for these. I've done wig glue and wig tape. I prefer the tape because it is less messy, but it is a little more work initially because you have to cut it to the right size. With the tape I leave them on for at least a week. I think got2b would work if you want them more short term like just for a day or two!
Congratulations on finding this solution to your alopecia. Going to check them out!

Hi, applying double sided tape to the skin, does it remain stuck on skin?
So sorry I'm just seeing this comment! No, I use a wig adhesive remover to take it off and it works great!
Hi, what double sided tape do you use/recommend please?
Walker tape! ❤️
Which type of tape used?
Hi, it's Walker tape adhesive, ultra hold. 😊
Is it available in Karachi Pakistan

yes! I've used mine multiple times! you could start with the small patch and see if you like it. I seriously barely wear toppers anymore; I love the patches!
