#telescope#reflector#mirror#roughgrinding#mirror grinding# how to make telescope mirror
In this vedio i tried to show how to make telescope mirror, and you can learn rough grinding of telescope mirror
Your dedication is great 👍
I have recently done with rough grinding of a 8 inch f/6 mirror one suggestion from me is do it random don't put mark on mirror to measure the degree rotate mirror randomly otherwise it will leave marks on the mirror. I followed these steps and got the perfect spherical surface. If you overshoot the focal length then use TOT(tool on top) if will increase the radius of curvature.
Thank you
Keep it up bro i ged ad before washing your video

No, flat glass. Both are flat glass
Subscribed.
One question though- Can I cut the blank from any kind of thickened glass or there is a special kind of glass from which the blank should be cut?
By the way I'm also an Indian from West Bengal
You can cut the blank from ordinary glass available on hardware shop .
And I am from Tripura , India
@@astrovillager Thanks for reply back.
Right now I'm watching another video of polishing the mirror of yours.
Get another question though.
Will post that on that video's comment section, hope you reply back
Great video. Une Question. How much time take the rough grinding step to get the required spheric curve?
It takes about 10 hours, my mirror blank was thin ,so i dig out only 2.3mm sagitta,(f/8mirror) but if you dig out more sagitta to make a f/5 or f/6 mirror ,then it will take more time
