I had the opportunity to trade tapes with our brother LL after my rig malfunctioned I'm Cinci in early 2000s (Feb 2003, I believe). He was kind enough to trade tapes in the mail, so I still got a good, clean copy of the show. Assuming you're the same dude, judging by the top quality material here, I believe it's true, so...Thanks my friend, and Blaze On!!!
That's exactly what I was just thinking and about to comment. Imagine if it was like a lot of other recordings with drunken people who love to hear themselves babble ruining this with the same old, "I love you Trey!" which is not love at all. A couple of cat calls in the beginning or end of a tune is cool, but everyone knows these concerts are being recorded, so it's SO lame when people ruin it with idle chit chat and other bullshit, especially an acoustic concert.
Trey's story after Waste brought tears to my eyes. When you lose someone and it's hard to describe them and your relationship, I can relate. I absolutely LOVE the relationship between Trey, Phish, and all of us.
wow, thanks so much for posting this. Proud to have been in attendance for this- right in my hometown. It was really a special show. So happy to be able to watch it again!!!
I didn't attend this but kept hearing about the stories so I am so happy I get to watch it now! Ithaca last night was great. These solo Trey performances are a huge treat, I'm cherishing every moment. Thanks again for posting!
taryn bishop exactly, I’ve been walking around house getting dinner hanging with the little one this and that, but when wolf dropped I did the same. Wow.
Excellent video, thank you so much for posting! I talked to you a bunch in the lines for doors during the BD and also the NYE run.. never knew it was you until you told me on NYE before we went in. Big fan of all your work and i hope to see you at a show again soon my man - Travis
watching the emotion overtake him after talking about Chris was heavy. tough to handle. you could see him choking back tears through the whole piece :(
LazyLightning55a has anyone told you doing stuff like this makes some peoples day better in a very real way --> whatever a few levels better then thank-you very much is --> that is what I am saying
darbz232 your statement about "making some people's day better in a very real way" applies even more today, two years hence, when we are faced with a pandemic and self-quarantine, when music is one of the few constants we can rely on to help see us through. Thanks to LazyLightning55a and Trey and all involved.
wonderful thank you... btw.. regarding milk and pregnant cows I suggest a book I just finished on cheese called the cheese trap that talks about some of the reasons why eating cheese might be worth reconsidering...
Solid setlist! Trey is popping by Arizona (FINALLY) for an acoustic set in December. Correct me if I am wrong, the last time Phish played Phoenix was 1997?✌🐶🎸
Mr. Lightning...you are a pillar of the community. Thank you for your selfless work. Pretty good stuff by Mr. Anastasio as well! ;)

I enjoy the quietness and the respect given. I can actually hear what is being sung.

This is absolutely beautiful. I lost my brother in 2005 he was just 28 and we used to see phish shows together and this brings a tear to my eye.
Decades later and he's still amazing, even better. Thanks for posting. So thankful Trey is still rocking.

Cool stories bro
Were you standing on stage directly in front of Trey? awesome footage!
Thank you for this, so wonderful to watch, Im currently being veritably moved by Saudade. Where's the Push On til the Day with the football story?
Solid setlist! Trey is popping by Arizona (FINALLY) for an acoustic set in December. Correct me if I am wrong, the last time Phish played Phoenix was 1997?✌🐶🎸
Ya catch that show? Haha
11:03 Trey knows the future!!
Huge thanks....Can we get LL for webcasts please?
Shout out to Mr. Lightning for this
This is insane...
Why was the Peyton Hooten story edited out?
Great job and thank you!! One question though... Why is the Peyton Hooten story missing?
troy pistachio
You should use the soundtrack from live phish FYI
What are u recording this on
why did the first person go shoulder deep into a cow? Were they just exploring and to their surprise discover a baby cow?
Trey is authentically having a great time!
I like "saudade" or whatever.......but he should bring back "spices" to phish or TAB.....that song was bomb.......but so was "time turns elastic"
What kind of guitar is he playing here?
ed snyder i believe its his 1943 Martin D-28
And brown cows give chocolate milk (but only after having a baby).
I did not know cows had to be pregnant to give milk. In hindsight, I feel like a total idiot.
what guitar is he playing?
One that rocks.
I think that's his '43 Martin D-28
This totally changed my mind on eating and supporting red meat.
Thank you
