This is incredible. The characters look gorgeous, the animations are more expressive, the colours pop and make the world come alive and our lord and saviour Koguchi is killing it on the battle theme. This could genuinely become the peak of Falcom presentation.
@@yousif467definitely utilizing more express animations in their crafts and cutscenes. They also seem to be making use of better camera angles too in order to give the attacks a more dynamic feel which is huge in a turn based game.

Everything looks and plays right in this game, I actually played kuro no kiseki 2 more than ff7rebirth. The battle system is just right going from real time action to classic turn based with some free roaming, and the animation of them running, walking, attacking, casting spells all look natural and smooth and also the girls have great hair physics where it don't flutter wildly or clips through them and looking odd.
I like signa music but I’m really hoping they let Koguchi just show off this time around. They’ve let him do more and more important songs including the true final boss theme of Ys 10. Dude is ready
Sadly, translation takes time, but I'm sure the wait will be worth it in the end. They always deliver. Also, it gives me more time to clear up my backlog.
Not really, Calvard Arc basically implement battle initiator on field. Rather than you hit enemies on screen to enter battle screen, you can do action mode with physical combo and multiple hits to enemies. Weaker enemies can just die in this action mode but if enemies are strong and you need Arts, Crafts, etc then you can issue command mode to enter turn-based battle. Boss battle will always force you into turn-based mode...
No, the action RPG elements is used to get the advantage in the turn based battle. Think of it like in Zero/Azure/CS1 when you back attack an enemy in the overworld and run into them to get a Max advantage at the start of battle.
One thing is confirmed they are bringing back the best feature of kuro 2 that is craft strengthening because no way the silen leap of Risette being the first craft being a whopping 50 cp....

I will neverunder stand obsession over sexualization of fictional jrpg/anime characters. If it’s there , cool…awesome. But if it’s not there that’s not gonna determine whether I purchase a product or not. I’d much rather them come out with stylish and artistic alternate costume dlcs. Bikini and school outfit dlc has been an ongoing thing in jrpgs ever since I was a kid dude and it’s really boring and predictable. That’s why I truly enjoyed the casual outfits from cold steel and demon king Rean was 🔥 too clean!
Damn these ost is leaps better than kuro 2 hell yeah. Don't let Singa create battle bgm that's his biggest downside other is ok but, battle bgm please no. I love Singa's ost in ys 10 but, the guy has very bad record of not being able to mix or countinue the ost like the intro and end up doing something weird.
More like don’t make signa compose half the dang soundtrack. Believing heart was great in Kuro 2 and he did well with Baptism of Malice, Ultimate pleasure, and phase 1 final boss theme of Ys 10
