I have a 2020 Silverado trailboss custom that I paid off. The original plan was to get a nice slightly used German sports sedan to go with it. But I consider maybe trading my Trailboss in on a brand new fully loaded Trailboss. You guys made the decision for me. There is no way in hell I paid $71,000 for that truck, and I actually like it
@Lin Hunnicutt I like I said before I like it, especially with the black out lettering on it. That's one of the things I didn't understand with mine it's black and red with chrome lettering. The one I own sticker for $46,000 but GM at that time was giving a $12,000 off the sticker. So I got after everything I got it for right around $36,000 wich a figure was a fair price and they still made money on my truck.
Just bought this same Midnight 2023 Trail Boss, except I went with the Duramax 3.0L turbo diesel. So far, 28 mpg on the highway. Diesel costs about 10% more than unleaded (I'm in Denver), but the mpg is ~50% better than the 6.2L; a huge win. Paid about 8k less than the pricing you shared on this one, so deals can be made. Yes, I do have the leather package, 360% cameras, etc. Only diff is I have the 18" rims and don't have the rear tailgate w/integrated step nor running boards. This video was helpful to my decision process in buying the TB. The truck is legit. Absolutely love it.
I bought a 2024 Custom Trail Boss, just under $60,000 but with tax and fees my $17,000 down still means an $800+ monthly payment for 60 months. That is very very tight for me but I must have dependable 4 season transportation. So far I am getting about 17-23 mpg from the 5.3 liter V8.
I was really liking this truck. I’m not a Silverado guy either but as soon as I saw $71k, I said to myself, “I’ll stick with my paid off 2015 Ram Rebel.” I also said the same about the reviewed Rams. Dealers complain they have too much back stock, too few sales. Ya know what’ll change that? Lower prices. And don’t tell me they can’t. They can
For the price point, the ZR2 has more tech in it. Cameras. Suspension. Matching spare wheel. Newer interior. HUD. It just makes more sense. Front end refresh. Better clearance.

Lol dude they’ve been using this engine going on 10 years ago, my 2015 6.2 dropped lifters dude to AFM hardware failing required replacing all the valves/lifters & fuel rail on one side, then it left me stranded when the starter shit the bed on the way home from a long road trip. I have owne 4 GM trucks w/ 5.3 or 6.2 V8, I have owned a GTO/Camaro & still own a heavily modified vette….but GM quality isn’t what it once was. They CAN make great engines, but they cheap out a lot of time. I’m currently on my 2nd Gen 2 Raptor, had an ‘18 & now a ‘20, put 80k combined on em w/ little to no issues, the 3.5HO is a phenomenal engine & wakes up crazily w/ just a 93 octane tune
It’s a shame I can’t find any Trail Boss models like this in my area (Dallas, TX). Almost all of them are cloth interior with dealers asking for $62k+ for a cloth interior Trail Boss
You most live in the northeast. I look at one in my area and I already have a trailboss custom, and the new was an LT and it basically hade the same interior as mine besides the dash and they wanted $61,000 for. NOT HAPPENING

I have the 2020 Trail Boss with the Midnight package. Love the 6.2 and the 6 1/2 foot bed I opted for. They need to stop with the 5 1/2 foot beds. The only complaint is the Goodyear Tires. They are so noisy as they wear. At 21,000 miles I could not talk with my wife at 50-60 mph due to the tire sound intrusion. I swapped for Micky Thompson Bajo Boss AT's. Much better.
