People are comparing this watch to a regular smartwatch. It's not a smartwatch. It's a classic watch with some smart features. You want a smartwatch that you charge every day go buy one.
Does the watch have the capability to show notifications from different apps, such as WhatsApp and email? Is it possible to scroll through the notifications?
hear me out. I'm here because I wanted to do some research on this watch, looked kinda interesting. my conclusion $1300CAD for a quartz watch with less features than a $100 Fitbit is kinda wild IMO. Do I like the watch? YES Cool factor: 6.5/10 practicality: 3/10 Would I spend $1300CAD on it? fuck no lol buy a Fitbit or something similar and wear it on opposite wrist, save a bunch of money. I love the idea of this watch, but it's just not there yet unfortunately. yayaya iTs NoT a SmArT wAtCh. at 44mm and 14mm thick im not going to wear a tank on my wrist that does 1 thing different than what's already in my pocket and thats heart rate tracking. this lacks software, the sensor is already there.
Hello, Does Anyone know the battery life of this watch? It looks beautiful, but compared with the previous version, it seems to have fewer functionalities and is more expensive.
Hello my friend, I'm living in Costa Rica , I'm a watch maker, I did receive a T081420 movement because is not working properly, the hour hand it is not moving, I disassembly the watch but I saw that one rotor is broken, I'm trying to found the movement but imposible. Do you know where i can find it?. Really sorry about my english.
Great video. I currently have the Connect Solar (2020 version), purchased in 2023. Is there any real need to grab the Connect Sport? I just wear it casually. Its always nice to have something new and shiny, but for all intents and purposes, I am having a hard time justifying a Connect Sport purchase.
I have both and other than WR (50 vs 100m) and the bezel (the connected solar has icons they are illuminated, the sport does not). I like the Sport much better.
I think that these watches have very little in common beside the name and a bit of look. The one you (and I have) is a proper ABC watch, and the sport version ditched those sensors in order to fit a pulse/heart beat one that might be better for "daily sports", i.e. going for a run. Those are not that important when you're going up a mountain for several days and the more important info are altitude, compass and so forth. Regards!
I prefer older designs. Besides, I think that they are behind the competition. I know it's a different type of "sports" watch, but I prefer to purchase a Suunto Vertical Solar or a Garmin Fenix 7X as my daily wearing watch than that T-Touch...
Thank you Ariel for the review, great as always! I am using t-touch for good dozen of years. What makes it different from all other smart watches is touch zones on the periphery of the dial. You cannot see them, thus it looks perfectly regular watch but with perfectly hidden touch screen capabilities. This one is just another regular smart watch. That's sad and unfortunate. I hope they will revive T-touch in the future models.
I'm a fan of this space. Love nice watches and love connectivity without wearing a mini phone. But this execution is not good, especially for the price. Feels thrown together sloppily. Can we at least start with a nice dial? No reason to get this over a citizen for a third of the price. And nowhere near as nice a dial as a Kronaby. Do better Tissot.
This is certainly not as good as the watch before this one - T Touch Solar. Better connection features with a smart watch AND 100 metres water resistance!!

Just got this watch, it does have the battery status, along with the solar intensity (scroll to the far right). Overall, a good start.

Hi there. Are these watches reliable??? I really like these tissot watches. I’ve read previous version had some issues. BTW great review.

Does it take your pulse?

Use the warranty.
At the retail price it's just not worth it for the incomplete feature list or hardware.
Only 5M WR was a disappointment for me on an sport/activity watch. Nice video walkthrough 👍
50m

@@fencore thank you. I am just going to buy and keep both of them.
Very beautiful watch, but I like the more the interaction in the 47 mm version. Although of course I prefer this size, or even smaller if possible
can i use it as a fitness watch??
You can run with it on and it will count steps. So not really a Garmin is it.
Could you please Tell me, is it possible to deactivate the Sound of the Alarm?
So that the clock just vibrate when Alarm is on.
Thank you
I'm a long time fan/owner of T-Touch. My heart wants this watch, but my head says stick with Garmin Epix. For luxury, I can go with Garmin Marq
Can we get it in the US?
We can now
Yes now we can
Beautiful watch

I want it!
I love this but expensive to match
Water resistance is only 5m?!!
50m/5bar
It’s a real step down from the original t-touch concept imo.
Heart rate monitor
Not really a smart watch. It is beautiful but seems expensive.
Well it’s not actually a touch is it.
Do not buy this watch. Mine stopped working after a week. The dealer gave me my money back when a new one displayed the same software issues.

I have bought 9 Tissot watches.., I will never buy another again. The stupid software and the phone app never work. I hate them.

Niche product, especially when considering the price. One's money would be better spent on a samsung or apple watch, true smart watches.
Nope Apple Watch u have to charge every 1-3 days deal breaker for me in a watch.
@@riccccccardomost likely typed this reply on your phone, you have to plug in every day…
Samsung is best
