Beautifully understated as ony Lucy can do,this young lady has to become internationally known in due course!,certainly my favourite vocalist on the planet, been following Lucy for several yrs now, just how much better can she get?!,just 20 yrs of age, astonishing!.😊
Hello Chadeo, well done the first to react to Lucy singing " I Dreamed a Dream " hearing Lucy singing this song gives me chills she sings it just so beautifully, Take care, Barbara.
Hello Chadeo! 👍reaction !
Lucy always has her own rendition and I love all of her performances because she has not only a brilliant pure and great voice....she dives into each song and feels the music as well as the content!
She is excellent!🎉
Lucy is a something special that comes along once in a lifetime. Magnificent!
It is a very rare thing to come across a vocalist of this quality. The subtleties and nuances embedded in this performance require close listening but the emotional impact hits you immediately. This is a song full of the emotion and pathos that comes when the hopes and dreams of a life are thwarted by the circumstances that impact that life. Lucy conveys this emotion powerfully, believably and thoughtfully. Ultimate respect is given to the song and Lucy’s triumph here is to convey the message with perfect vocals and clear simple presentation. Definitely another goosebumps performance.
❤
I find Lucy's vocal skills, emotive skills and passion to be overwhelming - this one hit me like a 50 pound hammer. It is mesmerizing & beautiful. Thx Chadeo.
A beautiful song from Les Mis, beautifully performed by the best vocalist today. This was one of my wife’s favorite songs 🥲, I wish she were here to experience all that Lucy adds to every song she performs. Something from The Phantom?
A lovely reaction Chadeo to a beautiful rendition of a famous song. Lucy is the best.
Lucy is my dream ❤!
Absolutely stunning ! Lucy's voice is pure liquid gold. Perfection as always , and yes I agree with you when you say Lucy's covers are better than the originals. Thank you for the reaction
Thank you, Chadeo, for reacting to this masterpiece by Lucy Thomas. Lucy conveys the terrible feelings of helplessness, hopelessness, and sadness of Fantine as she lays dying of starvation. Her performance made me cry - every time that I have heard her sing it. No one has ever had that effect on me. No one conveys emotions as well as Lucy. I have never heard a non-opera singer that has the voice, technique, and skills that Lucy possesses. Listen to some of the performances of this song by the famous professionals and compare them immediately to Lucy - I have. Lucy is better to far better as they tend to overact or belt the entire song. Neither results in the emotions that Lucy produces. Lucy is simply the best - ever.
Who is this so called expert!?! I know Lucy and have known her since age 11!
Johnny on the spot, Chadeo. 1st to react. Wow, wow, wow. Another perfect performance by our Wonder Woman of song. When she sang We Can Change The World, I commented that that song would be as iconic as Never Enough and some of the songs from Les MIs. And now she has done 1 of those songs. Hoping she soon does One Day More.
That would be incredible if she did that song.
Layman reacted right after Chadeo this AM.....
Damn Chadeo, good ole You Tube ... the notice just came through and yours is already 33 mins posted. thanks for the quick react.....but did Lucy out sing Susan Boyle ?????
Susan is tough to beat but Lucy is very close
@@ChadeoYT I posed the question because Susan sang it from a different perspective, poor unknown but having the dream, Lucy really has the dream and it seemed to be from a slightly different perspective, she has the dream......just a little food for thought !!
@@wilburfinnigan2142 Susan also had a huge audience that went from derision to a standing ovation. What an adrenaline rush that must have been. Lucy has to supply her own here.
@@lawrenceb5236 I pose the question because as I stated the song was sung from 2 different perspectives, Susan was an unknown, older woman and kind of frumpy so yeah she was dreaming the dream and it paid off for her, Susan has all kinds of mental and physical problem, and Lucy sang it from the perspective at the other end of the scale, well known, from an affluent family and her dream is under way while she is in good health and young and good looking. just another perspective.....
Lucy sang it the way it was supposed to be to be sang! Beautiful
