Congratulations! It's so exciting to see you today out if your brace.
I remember you saying you weren't working on those shrimp socks to often because you didn't want them to be done 😂
I love your stories, and you just the right amount of speed for me!

You are correct! And it’s so true. I almost wish I was still working on the shrimp socks. 😆

Congratulations, that is amazing. It feels so good to get it off. My tip is acupuncture. After I got out of my brace the muscles in my neck were so sore. About 6 months later my Dr sent me to acupuncture. I was unsure of it but after my second visit the muscle pain let up, it was amazing. I have now been going once a week for 7 months for all my chronic pain and it really helps.

The snake colourway would work for a South African species called a red-lipped herald. Their bodies have white flecks (? - scales, I dunno).
So glad you're out of your Brace and feeling a less in pain now!

@@lemonbalmmel immediately going and looking up red-lipped herald … oh yes! Those white flecks do look just like that. Very impressive knowledge on your end!

@@iekika5047 They're quite common where I live - I'm South African, and I love our country and all things nature. I could do without the politicians though.
What crochet stitch is your blanket? I'm teaching myself crochet after being a knitter (I'm not dropping the knitting, but crochet hurts different parts so I switch between all my things to keep comfortable. I was kitting my cat a blanket using moss/seed stitch, but I think actually a crochet blanket might be nicer. (The funny thing is, this cat doesn't like being covered, but I'm making them their beds and my other girl loves being under stuff in winter and I want them to have the same setup, so Ani is getting a blanket. Maybe she'll appreciate it in her old age). P.s. My PP is of my old cat that has passed away, but I was studying vet nursing and hand reared her from 4 days old.

@@lemonbalmmel it is a single crochet and a chain one. Super easy to do!
My kitty also does not enjoy being covered up, but he does love all things fiber arts. He will lay ON my bags, or anything that I am making or have made. I figure he would love a kitty couch :D
I think it is super wonderful that you thing of your animals, and try to make them happy, and comfortable too.

      @@iekika5047 Thank you.
I designed myself beds for them - so I do ribbing all around and knit stitch in the middle - then on the top I knit in their name in a contrasting colour (I always use a patterned wool for the main knit). I sew batting between the knit part and stuff the ribbing parts with normal stuffing so it creates a pillow all around. They're quite big beds but the cats appreciate it because I think I live in a similar climate to you and they stretch out in the heat of summer. We're in winter now though so they're curling up. They do all love sitting on my projects, especially the cross stitich I'm doing for a friends wedding (I may have it finished for there 2nd anniversary...) or my knitting for charity blankets. I have to wash everything thoroughly to try get most of the cat hairs out! Our 1 cat (he's a black clown) also like kneeding my balls of wool and generally making a mess of them. (We have 4 cats in total, and 1 dog)
