Oh geez, it threw me off because I thought the Hurler wooden coaster was converted into a hybrid coaster and called it Twisted Timbers, but I didn’t realize that there’s another Hurler wooden coaster at Carowinds

I don't think they should RMC this just yet. I think Carowinds should invest in a modern woodie before changing or getting rid of Hurler. I rode hurler a few years back and it wasn't all that bad so I feel it could have a few more decent years left in it. A new dueling GCI would be amazing! It could be a spiritual successor to Thunder Road and occupy the space used up by Nighthawk and Vortex since they're right next to each other and I can't imagine either coaster being terribly missed. Then, once they have a new woodie, RMC Hurler would be the perfect next step.

@@plastic8101 As much as I'd want Goldstriker to be saved, I doubt Cedar Fair would want to go to the trouble of relocating a wooden coaster. It's possible and I'm not an expert, but I feel like it would be a logistical headache compared to relocating a steel coaster.
Alway brace for the brake run at the end. The pothole at the bottom of the first hill... backbreaking. It definitely needs RMC'd with some inversions.

I went to this coaster today I had shaking so much that I felt like my brain moved side to side, it is horrible, rough and I couldn’t enjoyed the rest of my day because I had a horrible headache, I regret so much riding this!
If this was RMC’d it would be called Twisted Timbers 😉

@@nerfer1091 I've ridden the Hurler in person and it was actually pretty smooth. I think it's a perfect woodie.
There needs to be a referral for a local dentist at the exit for this ride in order to replace all the teeth this rattles out of your head.
Most painful ride I've ever ridden.
SO TRUE. i literally had my arm bruised 2 times when i went to carowinds, one from ricochet and one from hurler. every other ride was fine
this one was my fav ride
If you want a Rollercoaster to vibrate your skeleton out of your body, this is the ride for you !

I'll always love the hurler because it's a classic here but thunder road was Soo fun and that drop was so big . I wish I could of enjoyed it when it went backwards to . My grandpa even did welding for thunder road so I was sad to see it go .

The KD version was way worse. This one’s rough, but its not excessive. Its just boring. KD’s version tried to knock your fillings loose
Worst coaster I’ve ever ridden. So rough. Brakes smell like an old cap gun too. Don’t ride this garbage
