Good song, can't find it anywhere, randomly found it only on sound cloud... decided to upload it here for more to enjoy..
I've been listening to since 2009 when it was released on the Underworld Rise of the Lycans soundtrack. Song is very meaningful to me because everytime I hear that first line "from a hospital bed" it makes me think of my sister who passed away that same year. Fantastic interpretation of the original song. "Renholder" is an ambiguation for the name "Danny Lohner" (essentially his name backwards) of Nine Inch Nails and Puscifer fame. Lohner met Maynard James Keenan of TOOL fame during his time with NIN and the two hit off immediately leading them to work on projects with Maynard's second side project from TOOL (the first being A Perfect Circle), Puscifer. Matt Skiba (lead singer of Alkaline Trio, the dude you are currently listening to on this track) actually ended up living with Lohner during his divorce where he met Milla Jovovich (yes THAT Milla Jovovich from The 5th Element, Resident Evil etc.) who was working on music with Lohner, and had recorded some fantastic vocal tracks for Puscifer (see: "The Mission, M dis for Milla mix").
