Great information! Something I think a lot of people are lacking myself included, a bigger knowledge of throwing putters. I think we get caught up in the flashiness of higher speed discs and it’s good to get back to basics. Maybe I’m just lucky because I’m a brand loyalist that I fell into and bag the top two haha.

You've gotta try a westside discs VIP plastic Maiden, definitely one of the best throwing putters on the market. Absolutely bombs, plus its pretty torque resistsnt (only the premiuim plastic tho). Innova Darts are also a tun of fun, fly dead straight and incredibly far for putter, almost feels like a mini driver.
I don't throw it for drives, but my putting putter is a Wizard that I bought twenty some years ago when Gateway first released them. It's just continued to be a fantastic putter, I try other putters, but the Wizard keeps being better, no matter how old it is.
Still a pretty new player and I have really been loving the Nomad. The Nomad flies so far for me, dead straight for the longest time, and has s reliable fade at the end.
I'm an innova dude, I love the feel of them ridiculously, I haven't felt a disc as nice for some reason, alot of other brands I don't like the feel...I've tried a fair few, however I don't have a throwing putter i like throwing, (I've just gotten a star invader which is alot nicer feel than the halo version to me) My favourite throwing putter is the ruru or tui by rpm Glow plastic is very slippery when wet though. Berg & Berg x is awesome I might try a pure!! I haven't tried that!!! Good reviews!!
@FlyingFajitaDiscGolf sounds familiar! Bought heaps of putters over the past year and a bit, the invader was one of the last I got, admittedly I loved my tomb putter, which I lost as well.
I'm an Innova dude too but I've been sticking to MVP for putters. I use a Neutron Envy for approaches and Nomads for putting. The invader is great though. It holds turnover shots for me really well.
Is nomad a shallower version of a PA-3 ? I play with prodigy today but im thinking about to switch all my disc to axiom/mvp. I like pa3 but its just a bit to deep for powergrip. Proxy and Nomad have been on my putting and throw putting radar for while now but im not sure because i dont have the opportunity to to feel them in my hand before buying 😬
I just took a look at my Nomad and Pa3. The heights are extremely similar. Biggest difference is the angle between the wing and the bottom of the rim is steeper on the Nomad. Proxy is shallower than both.

Proxy is possibly my most thrown disc if not number 1 definitely top 3. My favorite overstable throwing putter that absolutely slept on has to be the jokeri. It’s like an envy and a pig had a baby. Very workable, plenty of glide and likes to fight back

@@FlyingFajitaDiscGolf I have been throwing a Reko X in glow plastic when my Envys get too straight and I need something stable, until I can get to the disc golf store to buy another Fission Envy. I like it a lot! Haven't tried the soft plastic yet though.
Jester Discs is new, I think they have 3 molds out. The putter is the Love; dead straight, massive glide, and somehow still torque resistant so you can throw it very hard and it doesn’t turn hard, just slowly drifts.
Great lineup! I had the chance to talk with Big Jerm at an event this year- he went on and on about how great the Aero is. That’s one I need to test out soon.
@FlyingFajitaDiscGolf the Halo plastic aero. The DX ones are a touch understable but the halo runs fly like a long glidey XT Nova only they dont feel weird like a Nova. They hold the exact line you put in on
@joonas8885 yep, it's excellent. Some of the older Premium runs are pretty straight. Most Ultrium runs are nice and slightly OS. The Gibson run with the puddle, great to forehand. Older Ultrium plastic, before it became partially recycled was just amazing.
No way the Proxy should be ahead of Envy. The Envy is A) way better for FH and B) performed the Holy Shot. My top 10: 1. Envy 2. Pure 3. Proxy 4. Ion 5. Wizard 6. Pa-3 7. Luna 8. Judge 9. Maiden 10. Keystone

Judge is a top 3 putter. Maiden flys and feels just like a Proxy. PA-5 is a nice US flyer. Good list.

You need to ad the Spin. Slightly under stable but it makes the greatest putting putter as well. I use the Envy, Proxy and Spin 99% of the time

I’ve thrown my friend’s Maiden and I do like it a lot! Love how low profile it is.
Cosmic Fury 2 is my go to for straight throws.

If theres a gap to hit under 250, the fission proxy or 2020 ts luna is my go to. Luna with the fade, proxy for the straight finish.

I don't throw it for drives, but my putting putter is a Wizard that I bought twenty some years ago when Gateway first released them. It's just continued to be a fantastic putter, I try other putters, but the Wizard keeps being better, no matter how old it is.

RPM Tua. Just a great throwing putter with a slight understable flight at high speeds that will always fade back to center for a very straight flight.
