This is still one of those songs that makes me cry to this day, of course, after listening to the whole album in one go because Land Animal is one of those albums that i always listen entirely from start to finish. It feels off to listen to one and then leave the others, to me they follow a logic and a perfect sequence, conceptually and lyrically still one of the greatest albums of all time. Bent knee is a band that never fails to remind me that progressive music is not dead and that it never died. The dark and gritty, almost apocalyptic sounds they convey are a thing of beauty, not to forget Courtney Swain is without a doubt one of the most beautiful voices i have ever heard. Bravo!
The sublimity of the song is in its non-violent and resigned feeling (different to other past songs by bent knee) in the acceptance of the lacks and would-ifs of life as everything is set in an unmovable society. Well done on the video. Keep up the great work.
I kinda ignored this song until it hit me... when I was working the night shift at my job, listening to the album. The song came up and I could not stop listening to it. Love the atmosphere so much!!!
Something about this song screams the aura of another song from another rock band somewhere and I can't for the life of me figure out what that song is 😭

Music is much better 🌿🎻🌿
I feel this in 5...
A 21st century song.
Reminds me a lot of An Echo A Stain by Björk...

Am I the only one who immediately thought of St. Vincent?
Courtney Swain, nicely done & beautiful and smooth! You have sexy tone in your voice! Great job! You are on my Playlist!
Humbling stumbling and vast
reminds me a bit of David Bowie Blackstar
Can definitely hear a Deftones influence. Also Portishead. Both awesome.
Wow. This is David Bowie, female edition. 👍👍👍👍
how'd you get Emma Watson to star in this? /s
the most creative and awesome band
You sure it's her? Definitely looks similar, but IDK. Not sure
She used her stage name, Annabel O'Hagan.
Why on earth did Bent Knee move on from this sublime sound to their latest tuneless offerings.
Excellent!
