I can't stop thinking about what this game would've been if there was 125 programmers and not 44. This game only had a team of 60 people when it was first being made and then the team got larger but most of the team was made up of sound designers and artists which don't work on the game itself. The team also got larger late into development. I would post a link the source my information but UA-cam won't let me.
