Katey and Jed I really enjoyed all your videos I have ask God to answer me put I don't know if he is or not how do I know if he is answering me or not it really 🤔 upset me too I have had not the best life I was on drugs for like 15 years hard drugs the doctor got me started from having alot of pain but anyways I am clean now I have been clean for like 10 years now I am very happy with myself I couldn't buy anything because all my money went on street drugs but now I can buy alot of things that I like to have and it's a great feeling to know that I am able to do that I find myself alittle bit unhappy about not knowing what's going on in my life now 😕 and I ask God I seen to get know answer 😅 😕 I don't know why I am thinking maybe I have to ask Jesus in my heart again when I already did 💔 once before And a other thing I m trying to Figure out what is the difference between God and Jesus I'm sorry but I don't understand I want to learn very much so thanks 🙏 for your time 🙏 sorry if I sound stupid I don't mean to at all And I have no friends either so that makes it hard thanks again love you both ❤️ 💗
Katey , you speak from experience and what has been personally revealed to you by God. You speak from your heart and truth and not just doctrine that has been taught to you. That will make a huge difference in touching peoples lives. Something people can relate to and understand and also want to emulate. God is clearly using you both to draw people back to gospel values and what it means to be in a Christian marriage. I applaud you both in this day and age for standing firm in your beliefs.

Believing in your heart that Jesus died on the cross and that God raised him from the dead in 3 days and you confess that you believe this, saves you from eternal death and you are able to walk in the freedom of eternal life and there isn’t any fear of death. To be honest I saw y’all as just religious and following the rules because you were being forced by your family and I just want to say I’m sorry for that. But what I love is seeing that true relationship you have with the Lord. You both are so pure in heart. I’m praying that the Lord would continue to encounter you both and bring you into deeper relationship with Him. That would experience Him in new ways!
I came from a family who believed in God but He was not a personal God to us. As a young married wife the Lord drew me to Himself through a Godly couple my husband first met. I thank the Lord for my salvation, at the age of 19. I am now 67 (time goes by so quickly!), and He has lead me through good times and not so good times. Thank you for your testimonies. Always a blessing to see a young couple who love the Lord.
Beautiful stories. God can use our heartaches to bless others later with our life experience. When our Pastors wife lost a pregnancy, she felt like through her grief she would be able to council other Moms later. The walk with Jesus isn’t always easy, but it’s worth every step.
I also grew up in a Christian home and grew up going to church. I accepted Jesus when I was 4 or 5 years old but didn't get baptized until I was 8 years old. I remember the moment I came out of the water I felt CLEAN. So awesome! As I got older the pleasures of the world were so tempting. But God has never failed at convicting my heart. Praise God. Also, by growing up in the church you get this mind set that you are perfect because you are going to church and not doing anything that is bad. "ALL have fallen short of the glory of God..." God is leading me and guiding me through it all. I love how you used the word Sanctifying, that is so true. Thank you for sharing your story of faith. Yes, definitely share your story how you met :)

Thank you for sharing. I was raised in a Christian home and said a prayer when I was young but never having peace. It wasn’t until I was 27 that God showed me I was lost and undone. I praise Him for protecting me and His patience toward me. Since that day I agreed with Him that I was lost - I’ve never been the same! Yes I still sin but having true peace with Him! And walking with Him is nothing compared to “trying” to be a Christian. I am His and He is mine - now I know the difference! This comment needs more likes. So many People go through this walk, especially young and old Christians to be alike .... a lot of people are afraid of this walk and it’s because of fear. There’s so much hell and damnation and not enough love and forgiveness when it comes to Jesus love for us ALL!
The God of Scripture is both Merciful and Just. He is quick to forgive but also corrects and disciples. He is the perfect Parent . Through the Messiah, Jesus, we receive forgiveness as we confess our sins and walk that new way He has shown us.

I really needed this tonight. I've been struggling so much with my mental health recently and this message really made me stop and think. I've never really had my own relationship with God and tonight I made the decision that it's time to have one, not just rely on others' relationships with him.

Thank you so much for sharing. I am a Christian as well. Just a little about me. When I was 9 I thought I was saved but had doubts a lot. I officially got saved on June 25, 2007, in a public library. As a child, I had an ok childhood with the exception of being abused by a brother from the ages of 7 or 8 to 12 and again in 2003. At that time too I wasn't being taught as I should have been in the public schools I was enrolled in and I was in special education too. But because I am not a quitter and have the determination I wanted to learn to read as you see I didn't really start learning until I was 14 when my parents put me in tutoring outside of the school district I was in. The learning to read all started in my mom's kitchen when I was crying as I did a lot of still do sometimes. But the crying now I'm sure had some to do with my abuse. I shared this because I want you all to know that because of my issues I did not let them take over my life and I have God to thank for that.

You guys are soooo correct about divorced families. It's so hard for the children and Myself as a parent the guilt of not being there for them os so difficult. But. I am learning through God that they are adults and they have their own lives and decisions which they make. Personally, I miss being close with my children but I do know in my heart that God does work on mysterious ways and it does help heal my heart in missing them. God bless you guys.

The most profound thing I ever heard was that 2000 years ago God knew me, all of me the good, bad and ugly and still chose to have Jesus die for me. God loved me so much even then that he gave his son to die on the cross for me even before I was born. I only had to do one thing and that was ask Christ into my heart and live for him.

Katey should be commended for her brave introspection. True strength, growth, and healing as an individual, and especially as a spiritual person is to acknowledge, and learn from the many aspects of life- during our times of happiness, and peace, to the challenging, sad, lonely, and down right difficult times. Reminding me of the strongest person of God I know, and look up to. They fought their internal battles for many years as a result from the ripple effects from pain that was thought long past. I've always saw this person as extraordinary in their devotion with unwavering faith. However, I did not see their true strength until they shared how a very scary/desperate moment in their life humbled them to accept care from a mental health professional. Something that was, and still sometimes is, stigmatized. As someone who is learning to heal, it helped me to understand that we are not lesser for these struggles, but he wants us to learn from them. To break the cycle. Also, to pay attention to not so obvious signs that he is always there. He may reach in a kind voice of a spiritual leader, doctor, teacher, psychiatrist... as well as... the skater kid with purple hair, the single mom, the person who has scars they use to hide, the one struggling for emotional balance on a daily basis, or someone that came from a broken home.

Appreciate how you shared that you counted the cost before accepting the Lord as your personal Saviour because there are so many people who think they are saved because they said a prayer or just believe in their head that Jesus died for us and they don't understand repentance and how you are chosing to make God the leader of your life. It is worth the cost and so much more and God is so good in the the ways he brings people to know him and in everything. I am so undeserving of his love and so thankful for the peace he gives you and that having him Lord of my life means that I can pray and talk to the Lord about anything and that he will hear me and has an amazing plan for my life that is so much better than I could have planned for my life. Katey I can definitely relate to having insecurities and feeling like you’re the only one going through something and feeling alone. I am 30 years old and I still struggle with insecurities. I grew up in a Christian home and was raised in the church and it wasn’t until I was a young adult that I finally learned what it meant to make my faith my own and what God was to me personally.

i accepted Christ when i was 10 and im still a christian i try to witness to people when ever the door is opened for me to do it. you guys are so humble and i think jed would make a good preacher hes calm spirited and explains stuff so well. thank yall for sharing maybe this will help somebody and lead them to Christ and i have a prayer request please pray for my boss

Thank you so much for sharing. I am a Christian as well. Just a little about me. When I was 9 I thought I was saved but had doubts a lot. I officially got saved on June 25, 2007, in a public library. As a child, I had an ok childhood with the exception of being abused by a brother from the ages of 7 or 8 to 12 and again in 2003. At that time too I wasn't being taught as I should have been in the public schools I was enrolled in and I was in special education too. But because I am not a quitter and have the determination I wanted to learn to read as you see I didn't really start learning until I was 14 when my parents put me in tutoring outside of the school district I was in. The learning to read all started in my mom's kitchen when I was crying as I did a lot of still do sometimes. But the crying now I'm sure had some to do with my abuse. I shared this because I want you all to know that because of my issues I did not let them take over my life and I have God to thank for that.

You guys are soooo correct about divorced families. It's so hard for the children and
Myself as a parent the guilt of not being there for them os so difficult. But. I am learning through God that they are adults and they have their own lives and decisions which they make. Personally, I miss being close with my children but I do know in my heart that God does work on mysterious ways and it does help heal my heart in missing them.

Thank you Jed and Katey. Katey , I am 64, and experienced my parents divorce. Had to deal with my Dad remarrying. I thank God, that my Mother and maternal Grandmother were strong in Christian faith. The most profound thing I ever heard was that 2000 years ago God knew me, all of me the good, bad and ugly and still chose to have Jesus die for me. God loved me so much even then that he gave his son to die on the cross for me even before I was born. I only had to do one thing and that was ask Christ into my heart and live for him.

Katey should be commended for her brave introspection. True strength, growth, and healing as an individual, and especially as a spiritual person is to acknowledge, and learn from the many aspects of life- during our times of happiness, and peace, to the challenging, sad, lonely, and down right difficult times. Reminding me of the strongest person of God I know, and look up to. They fought their internal battles for many years as a result from the ripple effects from pain that was thought long past. I've always saw this person as extraordinary in their devotion with unwavering faith. However, I did not see their true strength until they shared how a very scary/desperate moment in their life humbled them to accept care from a mental health professional. Something that was, and still sometimes is, stigmatized. As someone who is learning to heal, it helped me to understand that we are not lesser for these struggles, but he wants us to learn from them. To break the cycle. Also, to pay attention to not so obvious signs that he is always there. He may reach in a kind voice of a spiritual leader, doctor, teacher, psychiatrist... as well as... the skater kid with purple hair, the single mom, the person who has scars they use to hide, the one struggling for emotional balance on a daily basis, or someone that came from a broken home.

Appreciate how you shared that you counted the cost before accepting the Lord as your personal Saviour because there are so many people who think they are saved because they said a prayer or just believe in their head that Jesus died for us and they don't understand repentance and how you are chosing to make God the leader of your life. It is worth the cost and so much more and God is so good in the the ways he brings people to know him and in everything. I am so undeserving of his love and so thankful for the peace he gives you and that having him Lord of my life means that I can pray and talk to the Lord about anything and that he will hear me and has an amazing plan for my life that is so much better than I could have planned for my life. Thank you for making this video and I hope that it helps others get saved and encourages other believers as it has encouraged me.

When God got ahold of my heart and showed me its a personal relationship I was moved to be baptized. My relationship with Him has changed and grown so much since then. You just never know who just might need this and also you explained it so well even a small child could comprehend it.. I too grew up in a Christian home and I did the very same thing, going through the motions and that didn’t get me any where until I fully gave my heart to God and had excepted Him as my Lord and Savior and began a personal relationship with Him. You talk about Peace and Joy it brought to my life it was unreal.. I would love too here more about you guys, Katey I think these young girls today need someone like you to speak. Katey I can definitely relate to having insecurities and feeling like you’re the only one going through something and feeling alone. I am 30 years old and I still struggle with insecurities.
I grew up in a Christian home and was raised in the church and it wasn’t until I was a young adult that I finally learned what it meant to make my faith my own and what God was to me personally.
