@@officalbananay no, emirates has been using the a380 for a very long time. the first time I flew an emirates a380 was in 2013, when this video was released
+fpm1979 Aircraft paint stripper. Same stuff used in the automotive industry. Performed the task twice. There is a plastic drop cloth on the floor to catch the paint and materials. I also noticed they didn't touch the tail section with it. Probably because it is manufactured with a different material that adversely reacts with the chemical paint stripper.
Hey braniacs. This is not a painting of a 777. This is the real aircraft. It is a 777 being painted. Learning a language really helps when attempting to speak said language.
It seems almost exactly the same! I guess the logo is a bit larger, and the wings are white now, but that really doesn't seem like too major of a change! Is there something I am missing here?
+Adam Hale The paint after flying all around the world starts to crack and chip where the rivets are and they are everywhere on a plane, that's what holds the planes together. When they go in for inspection the whole airplane is closely inspected by 100's of people, everyone has their own job to do. Sheet metal people will check and inspect the rivets and if any are loose or bad the fix them. Then after that the paint and paint prep people will sand around the rivets to feather out the paint so it won't get air under it after it is primed and painted. I'm not sure on how long an airplane flies before it get a whole new paint job like in the video.
+macclero The rudder is made out of a Composite type of material and the aluminum on it is very thin. It's not good to use paint stripper on the rudder
Gorgeous plane. Gorgeous livery.
amazing *timelaspe*
Omg an Emirates video without an A380 in it? This must be heaven.
Thank you for realizing that, Emirates uses The A380 for Dubai Muscat... 40 min flight... they should buy the 737 or A219
This was before a 380
Lol
The plane that’s painted is bad

Ah yes, someone has finally told me how to paint my Boeing 777,
Yes, thanks
That plane being owned by Emirates their is a chance that the gold paint is real gold
õ-õ doubt it.
Supercars of the North West just a thin layer of gold is nothing tho
It wouldn’t lift off with gold, it’s too heave.

Not me, I would have business class
looks awesome without paint :O
Instead of colours water, weather proof stickers should be introduced to reduce paint cost and time....suggestion....Rgs..
How was the old paint removed? Solvents would evaporate and it doesn’t look like the airplane was covered with something to prevent this.

Repainting of A6-EMT, a now retired Boeing 777-300 (all Emirates Boeing 777-300s are retired and replaced with Boeing 777-300ERs)
So satisfied
Did they use Sherwin Williams?
Super
Why did they replace the paint?
Because the paint is old u EDIOT

Amazing what a fresh paint job can do to a dirty tired looking plane.

how many 777 does emirates have in thier
They have 93 777-300ERs alone, and loads more types of 777. In fact, Emirates Bought the 1000th 777.

Triple Triple 7 aircraft delivery
They paint and refub it then scap it in a year?
Just watched the vid on them scraping the last 777.
peterincgy This is the 777-300, You saw them retire the 777-200, common mistake.
They now got 2 new 777-300s :)
When the teacher says you have to design a plane, me and my buddy.
Ahh yes,the triple 7 is on the emirates livery
Coming in like a yellowish scratched 777 and out, there is only one explanation, there is a teleporter in there, from the Everett Factory...
You misspelt Time-lapse
You miss spelled :miss spelled
Interesting they have their own paint hangar whereas many airlines would outsource this.
Yes
5 years and they haven't fixed the typo
Wow
Que top !!!
I have always wanted to go on a emirates but I have still have not been on one
Is this the boeing 777-300er?
It's B777-300 Without Extended Range.
Because I Can See The Rolls Royce Logo At The Engine Cowl.
Aviation Flyer747 Azim is correct. It is not the ER.
www.airfleets.net/ficheapp/plane-b777-32699.htm
Aviation Flyer747 On all Emirates aircraft they always list the name of the aircraft model by the cockpit windows.
Please ❤️ Emirates.
Emirates is the only and best airline in the world but the A380 it's not the old
Very Powerful music
I would like to have however much that cost.
Sensacional!

why does they paint all but not the ruder? same when they male an aircraft it can be all yellow but not the ruder it's painted always

please add service to coimbatore airport

Hey there!
Wow an 777 300 that is pretty old
cost?
You know what they say, if you have to ask...
Worked on emirates flight but haven't fly
If i owned an airl8ne, i would leave it bare metal shine with a clear over it. Rather blend in or look like a silver bullet...
I've seen these guys paint, they use their sandals as paint brushes
I've painted twin otters in the same kinda way...
Seriously Emirates...how did you manage to spell 'timelapse' incorrectly?
Rip Boeing 777😭😭😭😭😭😭
