You know you have a hit song when other bands do covers of your music ! Band Maiko does a cover of this "Secret Maiko Lips" I think its better then the original . Check it out Thanks Nice Reaction !
Great reaction. For a long time, this song was in my top 5 favorites. Then a cover band, Band-Maiko, did a banging cover called "Secret Maiko Lips" that took over that top 5 spot. MISA now uses a Japanese company, Black Cloud, for all her basses, not sure when she changed over.
The Secret’s out! I can see some struggling with what's behind Band-Maid's World Domination master plan. So right now in this comment I'm going to release to you and to all fans and yet to be fans around the world Band-Maid's highly confidential strategy. Here it is: They're mobilizing their awesomely powerful music, exhilarating onstage performance, and unique and endearing personalities to capture the hearts and minds of billions of people for one single purpose: to save us all from certain self-inflicted annihilation. How will they do it?: JOY! Band-Maid is spreading their Joy and the Joy people experience from seeing and hearing them play their instruments and songs to attain World Domination of Peace and Joy! Now that the secret's out, let's stand at the front lines and help them do it! But wait! So you think you're going see them for the JOY... the music... the excitement. But once you get to a Band-Maid concert, you realize... it's all about the love. Thx, Ryan!🤘😉
Keep digging. The Band Maid musical mine is loaded with gems 💎 My playlist is over 60 songs and “secret My lips” is in my top twenty. Gotta get you some high quality headphones 🎧 Kanami writes and arranges masterpieces that reward the listener. Love guitar solos? Don’t care about lyrics? Like metal? There’s one song that jumps out for that: “From Now On” As a musician myself? Hearing that for the first time changed my entire perspective on this band
I believe *MISA* in this song was playing the *G&L USA L-2500* bass. In 2022 and 2023 on their US tours they primary played in small venues 500 to 1500 capacity.
Yeah, I saw them in 2022 at the House of Blues in Chicago, which they packed to it's 1800 head capacity, which was the last US show on the tour, I believe.
With regards to MISA's bass, what BM4-Life said below. Three machines on top and two on the bottom. If you want a good look at that gorgeous bass, check out the music video "Daydreaming", it's my favorite bass of MISA and is just beautiful when the light is on it properly.
The 'Endless Story' video you watched was filmed at Yokohama Arena in November of 2023, but that's the only arena concert that BAND-MAID have done. They were scheduled to play at Budokan in 2021, but unfortunately cancelled that show because of the COVID outbreak.
I believe this was her Black Smoker by Black Cloud. She alternates between several of their 5 string Private Reserve models and has recently debuted a signature model.
This is from one of their first "One Man" shows in support of their first full album Release. They had only released Mini-Albums, and Maxi-Singles before, and this was for their first full length album where they also wrote and arranged 9 out of the 13 songs. The album was "Just Bring It" and the venue was Akasaka Blitz. And MISA is playing the G&L L-2500 5 string she bought after they started writing their own music, and their music required a broader tonal range. Before she would play various Fender Jazz and Precision Basses. She would later find Black Cloud, a small custom Japanese lutherie shop by two brothers who worked with her to develop her made for her Black Smoker 5 string basses, her Black Cloud Private Reserve "Precision SG Bass" Misa signature MISA-1 bass, and her Signature Model TM BETA-JMB5 MISA. This video is actually the live footage over the studio recording from that concert. There is a small 30 minutes video that was released with special editions of their Start Over/Day Dreaming Single.
Love secret my lips , listened to it for months on replay , miku absolutely steals the song with harmonies at the end , n I'm pretty this wasn't a small show , couple thousand the venue holds , as they were getting huge by just bring it album
Her name is MISA MISA MISA!!! Learn it. Know it. Use it. Preferably chanted 3 Times! It's a G&L, the company Leo Fender started after selling Fender. MISA started with a Fender Jazz Bass, but now all she plays are Black Cloud basses. Now you have to do their BAND-MAIKO version, 'Secret Maiko Lips'.
@@armynurseboy Afraid not , freeze the video at 42sec you can see the head stock , there's 3 tuners on top 2 on the bottom , the black cloud black smoker has 4 on top 1 on the bottom , also check out the logo its not Black cloud . BM4-life says its a G&L USA L-2500 bass .
If you would have told me when I was in my twenties and thirties that my favorite singer would be a female singing in Japanese I would have asked what you were smoking and may I have some please
Misa's first bass guitar was a Fender four string Jazz Bass. This one is a G&L from 2015- her first five string. Later in 2017 she was sponsored by Black Cloud, who have supplied her basses since- all fives strings.
Great song, not a good choice for a music video. I dislike music videos that are nothing but live concert footage with the album audio. It creates a disconnect between hearing and seeing.

I saw them in Boston in 2022, which I believe was the smallest venue size wise of that tour and it was fantastic.
Welcome to the "Pigeon Hole"! Here's a guide to everything BAND-MAID: www.youtube.com/@Ohrenje. Enjoy!

Think he's ready? 😉
@@mikeholmes5308 You're right, I wasn't thinking. It's to soon.😂

It's my favourite Akane drumming from early era of Band-Maid. But hey she's come a long, long way. and she's already fabulous here.
Uve unlocked secret boss fight po! Now u gotta do band maiko secret maiko lips
Love secret my lips , listened to it for months on replay , miku absolutely steals the song with harmonies at the end , n I'm pretty this wasn't a small show , couple thousand the venue holds , as they were getting huge by just bring it album
🍺🤪
Misa reps Black Cloud Bass, Miku reps Zameitas guitars, Kanami reps PRS guitars and Akane reps Tama drums
SML one of giants of the Band! Others would be Moratorium, Puzzle 2017, Hate, Don’t you tell me, etc. the list is quite long…

Misa now has a signature "Black Smoker" by a Japanese brand known as Beta. They'll set you back around 4000 USD.
MISA`s Bass`s are made by Black Cloud Customs .
Misa plays custom Black Cloud basses.
Yes , but not this one .
@dennisthemenace671 no, this video features her iconic Black Cloud "Black Smoker."

Watch the Band Maiko version. Best rock band on the planet.
If their lyrics aren't available on CC, Ryan, they're just a few clicks away on google.

Less talking, more listening...
