I have a Tele Ultra and a Strat Ultra Luxe.... in my opinion, these Ultra IIs are not worth the price increase for such insignificant minor changes. It's just a Fender marketing trick.
That red Tele looks like my 40th Aniversary Squier Tele, its in Dakota Red with the black anosdised pickguard. I changed the pickups for Texas Specials and the bridge for a Gotoh six brass barrel version and a Tusq nut, it plays and sounds awesome and much less cash than a Fender Ultra.
If you play a lot on noisy stages these make sense. Should have SS frets though. The Tele is seriously versatile. It's just how you get on with the noiseless Pups
I'm in the market for a new Tele and I really dig these in general. But the medium jumbo frets ruin them for me, because I like big frets and I cannot lie
Nice demo, gents! Aren't' two single coils stacked on top of each other technically not really just a Humbucker, just "organized" / built different? Whatever the nitty-gritty, the tones are really awesome! I think I tend to gravitate more towards ST-type "axes" at the end of the day. Had me some LP-style guitars over the years, a Les Paul Custom at one point, a semi-acoustic as well currently, but... somehow the expressiveness of this build is... _more_ IMHO. O:-) Nice.
I have the Tele Ultra mk1 in Texas tea colour. Can’t see any huge difference or improvement with the new model. Great guitar but noiseless pickups are a bit soulless. Ideal guitar for a professional player doing lots of studio work, but I’m planning on trading mine in for an American vintage ii, !
Is not the lesson here, that the Tele can STILL do everything the Strat can? My take on either is, that you should play the shape and construction guitar you prefer. The pickups and controls can be changed or modified to suite each players needs. When I choose/buy guitars, I rarely focus on the electronics specifically. If you can find a model that has those things you like also? That's an obvious bonus. For me, that almost never happens. But settling on a model with the specific options that check as many boxes as possible. Is always the best starting point. Then tidy it up to your liking. I'm not sure, other than an all out Customshop model. That I'd ever spend that kind of money on ANY guitar. That would still need quite a few mods to get it where I'm completely content with it. It'd have to be a Kiesel or Suhr, or even the almighty MusicMan. To drag that kinda coin outta me. Peace!
Problems : no flutter is possible no inox frets no boost no neck + bridge pickup as single coils the hb is less powerful than the modern tap +new tuners, new trem new pups new neck joint new colors all trebles at low volume are there owners of ultra 1 : just buy a Vega trem
Do you guys know any other industry that you can stay successfully and long-lasting that much without making any innovation but claiming and releasing the same product every year with increased price? p.s. apple could be the obvious answer but don't forget that they're developing a much better chip than predicisor every year.
Fender se parece al ungüento de Iphone, cambiando las series, pero sin mejoras significativas y cada vez más caras....Elite, Utra ..... bla bla bla....

Best sounding demonstration of Ultra 2s so far.I love the look of the red strat.Sounds great too!The white tele also looks cool.

I bet you got yourself a lot of bang for the buck with these mods, I'm sure!

Noiseless are ideal for studio/stage but sound a bit soulless imho 😊
@@MattMorgans I know. However they have improved a lot so worth a try.
No SS Frets is beyond me at this point also price increase while releasing the same guitar for 70 years 😂
If they change the design in a major way. It wouldn’t be a strat anymore. Same goes for LPs SGs PRS etc.
Hi guys! Nice guitars from Fender and beautiful tones from those guitars thanks to you guys! Cheers and best regards.
Hey buddy, thanks! //Kris

I was wearing my Ultra II Stankface for that G playing... The dude was rippin' 🙌

Ultra 1 Jazz V , still cant understand why they went with the dot inlays :(
Nice playing that man on the red guitar love the puppys 🎸👍
Ultra 1 Strat sounds better than Ultra 2.
I agree. Bought a 70th anny amethyst HSS Ultra 1 before they all disappeared. Glad I did.
I like the sound of the original Ultras versus the Ultra IIs
These new Ultra guitar sure are a site for sore eyes Beautiful guitars im sure🎸🙏

I prefer the look of the Ultra I (and don't like black pickguard)
But good moves with the sounds of the Tele Ultra II

i want the gold color but with rosewood fingerboard

The Tele hasn’t got a trem and doesn’t do the out of phase 2 and 4 positions. They’re very different guitars.
so basically, pretty much nothing is new? innovation indeed never rests...
I ordered solar flare ultra2. Red and blue are too dark.
Problems : no flutter is possible

+new tuners, new trem
new pups
new neck joint
new colors

it would be cool to compare the ultra strat to the US silver sky since they're not that far away price-wise
You can get 2 Schecter Johnston models with SS frets.....Fender really thinks we are all idiots
I'll stick with my Maybach Telecaster with no bullshit that wants it sound like something else.
Better let us hear a guitar without effect pedals, we do not hear the guitar.
So basically… removed binding from tele. Charge more. Got it. 😊
this French accent omg bro
No SS frets available and this awful D-shaped neck. No, thanks.
Fender is like Apple. Pick iphone, change this and that and voila, a new iPhone.
First!

Should we expect a new Ultra "Luxe" II range in the near future then? I wonder 🤔🤔🙄
