Wow Thanks man. Great video. I really like how you compared the 2 servo's and actually showed us the improvement. The Zoskay Pro seems like a great value. 👍
Figured id comment here for those wondering. At 8.4v it can make up to 52kg BUT it pulls 8.5 amps peak and sits around 6-7 amps. May brown out some built in BEC's. Infomation from Crawler Canyons video. So before buying please check your BEC's amp output.
Really cool side by side comparison on the servos. I bought a Zoskay servo for an Arrma Granite based on your recommendation and it's great. Great bang for the buck' This new version looks really amazing. Thanks for the review Troy. 👍👍
Wow nice one! Really can’t go wrong with these. If you need a servo quick to get the job done they’re perfect! Great value in these imo just put one in my gen8!
I bought a couple different versions on an smt10 the 20 kg would move the tires, but the gears were made of butter. The older 35 kg servo would strip an aluminum servo horn before the gears give up. I will be looking at one of these
That was a really nice demo, Troy! I'm using one of those in my Mojave 4s gone 6s and don't think I quite got the pro but it's listed as 35kg @ 7.4v and was like 20 bucks 😮
Now that you’ve had this servo for a few months, how is it (and your other Zoskay servos) holding up? Do they still perform as well as when they were new?
I have the old version of that in my outkast XL and I have the 25 kg version of it in my other Outcast XL and they work pretty good for a cheap bash or servo actually they work great
Are coreless servos any more durable or running any cooler than core servos? Can't find an answer to that. They only say coreless is faster....which the tables clearly shows.
Hey great video, I have a trx 4 Defender pretty heavy has steel beadlocks brass and front end wheel weights. My stock Traxxas could not return tires to centre. Had a 35kg power hd that also struggled and then died on me. You think this would hold up? Thanks!
I'm really starting to hate Spectrum RTR Electronics, the 23 tooth Servo thing is just another nail in their coffin in my book. I swear they make their stuff bad on purpose so you will have to upgrade, I have several of there radio set up's that are so glitchy I can hardly use them. like everything else they used to be a good company back in the day before Horizon bought them.

They have been really good for me - excited to get my hands on this improved model .
I got the standard 35kg and works fantastically well. Looking forward to getting this for my other rigs
Glad to hear it!
I've got one of those Bro. But haven't used it yet. Impressive! Enjoyed the review. Right On Brother 💪
Thanks Kevin! Seems good to me, but of course I always enjoyed the standard version.

Thanks Rick!
I think this will do well.

I agree! They work well and last a long time.
I have them in my monster trucks and had them for a good long time thay really work great
Awesome! Glad to hear it!

Awesome! I had the same result a few times - stripped servo horn before the servo gears were gone!

Yes! These are a great deal!
I have one on the way for my crawler...The Ecto!! I'll let ya know how she does. Thanks for the review and letting us know about the pro version. 🤙
Happy to help!
Bet the Ecto will love it.
nice upgrade mate👍
Thanks!
The 25&35 kg ZOSKAY servos are great. Gonna have to try one of these, although I don’t have any way to program my esc to run 8.4 to the servo
I don't usually run my stuff at higher voltage either. Everything you saw here was at the stock 5V BEC. Higher voltage makes me nervous! :)
Now that you’ve had this servo for a few months, how is it (and your other Zoskay servos) holding up? Do they still perform as well as when they were new?
Yes! Have had great luck with these servos.
I have the old version of that in my outkast XL and I have the 25 kg version of it in my other Outcast XL and they work pretty good for a cheap bash or servo actually they work great
I agree!
Looks similar with my DS3235SG 35kg on my crawler. Plenty of power and speed is ok.
Yes - they look exactly the same, yet this is the "pro" model.
I like this beast of a servo. Should work well in my Wendigo and Gen 8. Lots of turning power.💪🏼👊🏼😎
Yes! Should work great in both applications!
Great servo and install, nice test
Thanks!
That's great will have to order one of those
They are good!
@@RoadsideRC I have a couple of the standard ones excited to try the pro out and see the difference
Great content as always Troy. What voltage was your BEC set to as tested? Looks very impressive, especially for the price.
It was at the stock 5V BEC in this video.
Thanks!
@@RoadsideRC impressive performance for the 5V rating then.
What about for 2wd slash, brushless, just for zipping around yard and such
This should do really well for that.
@@RoadsideRC thanks I eneded up getting it and so far so good
@@dustinrossi9384 Glad to hear it!
@@RoadsideRC thanks man ! Love content as always !
I got a question will this work good on a basher? And will it fit a slash?
Yes and yes.
I run them in my bashers also!
Hello, I wanted to know if you are still using this zoskay servo in the basecamp or have you changed it for another? Excelent video =D
Still.using it! Great servo!
Nice! Do u have the link for that electric screw driver? Looks great
Hi Davide!
They stopped making this exact model - but it is very similar to this one: amzn.to/3LHtv6B
@@RoadsideRC Thx a lot👍
What brand and model of wheels and tires are you running on this truck ?
Here is the video with the full test and links to the products in the description: ua-cam.com/video/-r-Jg1iy0J8/v-deo.html
Hello bro, I have a question, can I use that servo on a rc plane ??? thanks for the video
I believe so.
Are coreless servos any more durable or running any cooler than core servos?
Can't find an answer to that.
They only say coreless is faster....which the tables clearly shows.
I am honestly not sure.
Hey great video, I have a trx 4 Defender pretty heavy has steel beadlocks brass and front end wheel weights. My stock Traxxas could not return tires to centre. Had a 35kg power hd that also struggled and then died on me. You think this would hold up? Thanks!
That is a LOT of weight. I don't have that much on any of my trucks, so can't really say.
Nice one. It's the standard 35kg I have in both my rigs. If those ever break, I'll get the 35kg pro one :-)
My thought exactly!
Thank you for the good information ~~ I'm going to watch the video well
Thank you!
Will these function effectively with nitro with constant vibration??
I have not tested, but I assume so.
Will this work in a traxxas slash 2wd? Seems like a good value.
Yes - will work great there.
@@RoadsideRC thanks man! I'll post a photo later on.
180 or 270 degrees?
Both work fine for most RC applications.
270 or 180 degree? What one did you order?
I usually buy the 270, but either will work for most RC applications.
Is this any good for heavier rigs like the rc4wd TF2?
Yes, will be great there.
That’s pretty cool 👍 The specktrum stock servos are pretty junky!
This certainly works as a cheap upgrade!
good servo upgrade guess the arm length could be a problem for some
*left a like👍Au👍full viewed*
You are right Billy!
What about 1/8 buggy
Yes - this will work well there also!

I am not a big fan either - but it is what we are stuck with for now.
I got one of those . Put one in my LMT and it take's the abuse .
Glad to hear it!
👍👍😁😁
thank you
😸✌🏻
Thanks!
