The main branch of STREETBEEFS was created in 2008 by Chris Wilmore aka Scarface. Streetbeefs as a concept was created in order to stop street violence with it's "Guns down, Gloves up" movement. From the crowd and arena right down to the fighter's of this very fight, this has to be the best quality backyard boxing max on UA-cam iv ever watched. The camera shots and referee action were phenomenal.
Blacksmith - hold your head high! That was pure heart...to come back and fight that well after the standing 8 count. I would not have guessed you were going to finish the fight, especially as effective as the last 30 seconds were for you.
He just needs to let them hands go, instead of one and done.. Combo's until the bell rings
Definitely great fight! I had a lot to catch up on but it looks like Qtip has progressed very nice. Great fight, both fighters here are awesome. Quick question... Is there an above 40 year old league or something? I am 48, and while I don't even come close to looking 48 years old, and I feel young, I still am pretty damn old. If I do sign up once I hit my goal weight in a couple months will I be put in with someone older? Is there an over 40 title or something? I don't see many 40+ here and I would be OK fighting someone younger, but I just want to make sure it's cool to sign up at my age. BTW I am a 0 to a 1 on experience. No formal training but I have loved boxing my whole life. I think I am good enough though.

What a fight. My gosh. The quick recovery from blacksmith was amazing after that beating to the body. Most men are out after that. Fantastic work from both guys. Entertaining from the first punch. Congrats to qtip
Q-Tip: phenomenal use of your range. Sitting out of reach and firing off shots like a sniper
Blacksmith: tough as hell. One thing you really have to do that I learned the hard way is: as the shorter fighter, you have to be the braver fighter. Walk the taller man down and enter his range. Circling around the edge of the fence is exactly where the fighter with the longer reach will want you. Long arms become less effective up close. Go for the body shots. Much easier to reach than a face that’s 4 feet away.

This. you see blacksmiths confidence boost in round 3 and he starts taking initiative. You have to have the mentality if "I'm about to eat this mother fucker for lunch" lol. When he was being aggressive and confident on the inside, blacksmith looked really good.

Those body shots gone have ol' boy sleeping on his left side for a month 🤣🤣🤣 But on the real, both fighters get mad respect for going 5 rounds and making it look good... Good sign for Scrapyard, Qtip is gonna be bringing in even better talent, thus bringing up the quality of Scrapyard as a whole!! Much respect 🙏🏽

@@seand.5535 HAHA Nah I would fight him at the weight I am now. (202lbs or there about). I think he's 6' so I wouldn't have that hard of time on the height difference. I am only 5'8 or so. Solo has lived a lot harder life than I have lived and I love the guy. I love his fights, and am too big of a fan to ever want to fight him. Even though I am over 40, I wouldn't want to fight anyone else over 40. I hit too hard. I don't look it, but I have very fast and heavy hands. Finally after 3 years I found a good sparring partner IRL. Before that I had put in about 500 rounds a month for 5-6 months on "Thrill of the Fight" on the VR headset.
There was a lot of heart out there. Great bout, gentlemen.

Excellent side to side movement and defensive pedigree from Qtip. When he gets hit in the 5th he immediately tuck his head and rolls out. Good stuff. Smith was a little over matched trying to fight tall against a guy with longer reach. But he kept discipline and made it a fight.

Qtip is very good at not giving his opponent much of a target area. He fights strait sideways never squares up.
That right hook tho, you can tell he been scrappin in the streets, and probably dropped a gang of dudes with his exaggerated feints and wind ups, good for the body work..
That was a solid ass fight. Black Smith really only had that strait left which he tried to hide alright I guess, but qtip looking down it was easier to see those hips shifting I think. Blacksmith turnd on that right jab in the 4th a bit, but for some reason or another couldn't keep that pace.

QTip question/remark "why do you try to level your height to the opponent his height?" You are taller but when you attack you shrink in size so your head is at the same height as your opponent. Stay straight at your own height en let the opponent fight upwards. Maybe I am wrong but pay attention to it. Succes, greetings from the Netherlands 😎

Blacksmith nearly had him in 2nd and the 5th round he could of won plus he boxes southpaw q tip did well and controlled most of the rounds and he boxes very similar to Tyson fury

Great fight, the shorter dude should've used the jab to implement the overhand, not slip to the left so much, and use body shots and uppercuts to set up the hook to the head.
Shouldve cut the reach, in and out.
Feints wouldve helped him quite a bit to head hunt if he wanted to.
But he fought extremely well.
