We are the Pacific Northwest Branch of STREETBEEFS. Im Firechicken, i run this branch. Ive been involved with STREETBEEFS since 2016, i flew to Virginia and fought 2 times in late 2018. Our group here merged with STREETBEEFS in late July 2020.

Several folks questioning the decision, so I’ll address the topic in 1 comment vs individually… because my opinion is obviously very important to everyone (haha).
Now, while Crazy Legs was busy throughout, he landed very few clean punches - vast majority of shots were blocked or partially blocked by Qtip’s guard. He also backed up consistently, and was forced to clinch on several occasions to halt Qtip’s onslaught.
I’ll grant that Crazy Legs started round 3 strong; several good combinations, and had Qtip on his heels early. So, I suspect this was the one the judges scored in his favor. Even so, I still think Qtip did enough to take it after weathering the early storm.
As for Qtip, he may have thrown fewer punches overall, but he landed the cleaner shots by far, and seemed to land at a much higher percentage.
He also imposed his will much more effectively - moving forward, cutting off the ring, forcing his opponent to clinch, etc. This is known as “ring generalship” in boxing, and is among the primary judging criteria set forth by the Association of Boxing Commissions. The others are “clean punching” (addressed above), “effective aggressiveness” and “defense.”
In sum, by all criteria used by every legitimate boxing commission to judge a boxing match, Qtip delivered the superior performance. Thus, he was correctly granted the win. I hope this helps clear up any confusion or misconceptions 😉
Also, CL losing his mouthpiece repeatedly doesn't make a good optic.

Wow, Qtip’s improvement from his 1st bout is pretty remarkable. Using his height and reach advantage very effectively now. That uppercut in round 1 was a thing of beauty. Impressive.

@@terryv because the other fighter was getting good momentum right at that moment. They had already stopped the fight 4 times from mouthguard btw. It would have been unfair to stop the fight and give the losing guy a breather when the fight was so close to ending .

Crazy legs did great for having like 10" less reach. First couple rounds he kept it pretty even.

Ahhh that earth magnet mouthpiece 😂. I’m 5’10” and I’ve fought a guy 6’4 and it’s very difficult especially staying on the outside. Got to stay in closer. Good fight from both fighters. Q-Tip got some skill fo sho. Good decision. Both were going at it But Q-Tip ultimately Controlled the fight and center.

Okay…so crazy legs was bringing it the entire 3 rounds. Q-tip was having success when he would go on the offensive but I thought it was few and far between . I would have scored it the other way but is what it is..props to Q and Crazy ✌️🇨🇭

Crazy legs tried a kick-boxing back-fist, and Q-tip got irate about it. I dunno, but kinda' seems like a back-fist should be OK in boxing. I mean, you're hitting with a fist in a glove. It's unorthodox for boxing, but, so what? Whatever works to hit your opponent.
It’s an illegal move in boxing, so Qtip had every right to be irate. Whether or not it should be legal is a moot point.
