I interviewed for a laborer position. The company is possibly interested in me working as a quality control field technician. I don't know a thing about it but I am very excited.
I don't know everything, no one does but I do know a lot about rolling and getting a consistent passing compaction. It's not as simple as someone might think,this is why I'm known in my area and make the big bucks.
Might be applying for a job like this… what is the average pay?

Wow, interesting, confirms what I thought happens. I think my state must get the people who barely passed this course. We've the worst roads, guess corruption in the industry may not help either. Kinda SAD when you see asphalt being used on a concrete bridge deck because it's failing and our SLAVEMASTERS would rather line their pockets rather than use OUR taxes to fix things correctly. Maybe a video on whether or not crossing ones fingers as you cross a bridge like that helps would be appreciated.

For all this training, The repairs my county just did isn't very good. The made a mess with the asphalt with little clumps all over the road
I work private sector as QC. We sell mix to our city and they have no standards on placement, and if we do the placement our standard is NO WHERE near the state standard.
