would love to see work being done after the diagnosis, like changing cells or bms change and seeing that the battery works after the repair. I like your content, but in every video it feels like only half of work is shown :)
They put silicone in the case so it makes it imposible for us ebikes to replace the battery. I left my bike over 4 months and my brand new battery is dead🥺
Given how much the cells cost I think bike batteries deserve more money invested in a better BMS though even Bosch batteries seem often to have the same problem - cells ok, BMS dead.
@@EbikeRepairs I repaired a few bosch bms 5v converter and Schottk diodes die in them. The Bosch Classic line suffers from the diodes going bad but in that case the case itself lets water in because it's only a piece of rubber .
Wow! So much effort to make it waterproof and then have the BMS fail. I guess that silicone is cheaper than a good BMS. I'd like to see the video part edited away where the end caps came off after much banging and cursing. That would be my version at least.
@@EbikeRepairsI think the cells can be measured through the charging port and the output port, usually battery+ is on the charging port and the battery- can be found on the output side. At least mine works that way.

I've started filming some long ones now, so the whole process will (sometimes) be shown!
With those metal rings, you're making quite a nice accident. That's almost at Darwin's prices 😀
Thankfully they're ceramic 👍
take off your rings!!! when working on electrical stuff
Unless they're all ceramic, then I can leave them on! 😮
"battery assist" thats a new one
Should have rephrased it '36v battery' 'assist ebike' oops
@@EbikeRepairs It's written on the battery itself, I've not seen that yet is all I was sayin. keep up the good work dude!
So it was, I filmed this a while ago 🤣

Agreed! Maybe you can recover the pack with some creative opening it up

Those BMS units in the Bosch batteries are evil, there's no fix 😭

SO MUCH SILICONE! Don't worry, that was 30 minutes of pure rage I edited away, you didn't miss much 🤣

Most likely the owner tuned the bike a little 🤣🤣 the bms covered in silicone had no heat dissipation so it said Amen.
Looks watertight 😂
Do your best, silicone the rest?
