This was the purest battle royale to play, it was legit one life, no BS buybacks, everyone had the same guns/gadgets to loot. I loved Firestorm and don’t know why so many people $hit on it. Bc of that we prolly won’t ever see a Battlefield battle Royale game mode again
@@ryancox7577 Yup, I play on PS4. It's hard to get into a game sometimes though. Rarely have a full house of 64 players in a match. It's great either way though. I rarely win but like it for that reason because it's such a challenge.

Use to play it on Playstation few years ago now I am on Xbox in 2023 , it's like it's worse now but I find it real funny how 35 servers in multiplayer are almost filled up with player . What they must not like Firestorm or just literally plain blind that all it'll take is a few of those serves put them on Firestorm. I know devs fault for not releasing this by itself and made it free even it they did it today I'm SURE it'll have players and grow some . EA and Dice are literally crazy for never doing nothing about this & all those servers up in multiplayer them players are just stupid for not going to Firestorm. A game mode thrown away wow .
It's really down to how competitive BR games were at the time (hence why they even made Firestorm) - Fortnite was killing it (unique 3rd person+building+fun aesthics style) - Apex came out and made a huge scene (best movement+elite gunplay+high TTK+abilities etc) - WZ cameo out and dominated lockdown years (casual game that everyone can easily jump on, huge map with 150 player count, chaos fights) - BF as a franchise was dying out by the time BFV came out, there wasn't enough of a base playerbase to have enough people playing BFV and firestorm and money and audience went to all other games. Bad timing, this coulda done better, but it was just following trends and probably to a very short deadline to compete with the above BRs. - As you can see from BF2042, the franchise feels like it's only just starting to show glimpses of hope after a terrible 1st year of release.
I had to fight a team of 4 in solos, I saw them from the distance and I decided to engage, I took one out but shortly after go suck in a house with no ammo and I ended up getting killed, hard way to go out.
This surprised the hell out of me when I played it , super unique and just felt right , shame this and Darwin project just didn’t get played enough to survive

man i am tired of warzone blaring robotic noises and constant narrator voice incoming this that Jesus Christ. And color/graphics are getting on my nerves everything seems to blend in hard to see but this was actually relaxing to watch and it looks more polished
There should be a persistent BR game where you drop in, then after a certain time you see new players dropping into the game. No rings or zones, just an entire map engulfed in a blizzard storm that you have to outlast with heals or hiding in buildings/houses until it passes. The more people decide not to fight, the more it becomes a total chaos warzone.

Yeah I feel like it's a wasted game. They should re realese it. Maybe with a BF1 skin as well. Can't imagine it would take that much work.
