Yeah, top mounted power supply with a removable cover is actually a great idea! When the PSU is on the bottom, whether your power cables have been tidied or bundled up in that cramped space and you need to connect a new device: it's a hell of a job to get a new connector in.
mITX is gonna look so small in there. Having the PSU at the top with full access to adding or removing cables is very nice for when you need to change things later on.

There's no point having that rear fan. The internal pressure will be enough to exhaust. In fact, the rear fan may make it worse! Love the case and the build, though.

So I built a computer with this case. I enjoyed it so much I ordered another one in RGB (when stock became available). Yes, that is crazy, except I have two adult sons who will be building computers within the next 6-12 months. I’m going to take the RGB fans for my system and give them the extra case and non-RGB fans. If the next build goes well then I might buy another one for the other kid. They are probably going to be on their own for graphics cards though. I realize I could have just bought separate RGB fans but this way no fans go unused. It’s also becoming a family shared hobby. damn looks like an ultimate dust collector....
All the intakes have filtration though.
@@fritz_mg dust still gets in though. The case will have positive pressure because of the intake/outtake fan imbalance meaning more dust will come in the case than dust that leaves it
@@michaelmiramontes6394 That would be the case with negative pressure, would it not?
@@fritz_mg no it would be positive because there are more intake fans. It would be negative pressure if there were more outtake fans because more air leaving the case causes the negative pressure in the case
@@michaelmiramontes6394 Yes, I meant the dust problem would be worse with negative pressure than with positive.
I just feel like this case is better for air. Where as if you want a big AIO someting like Lian Li's Dynamic XL would be better suited.. ?
Would the lianli gpu mount work for it? Because i want to use pcie 4.0
Very Good Channel. Your subscription is running. Personally, I prefer less RGB. Thanks
This case is fire and makes me want to redo my 6 month old build
Go ahead. Is very well worth it.
Funny video.... ask any SSD's or hard drives stored in the cable management area how they like the tropical temperatures. hehe
This is a case that I'll definitely look into when I finally dip my toes into custom water cooling.
Why would you put your toes in your loop?
@@christopherbrooke2142 time-tested method of checking the water's temperature of course.
I mean who doesn't dip their toes in coolant every now and then 😂
I keep hearing that a rear exhaust fan for this case is worse than not having one.
I love this case but the glass back panel seems pointless to me and a big off put
I need a matx version of this
Getting this case after I got my refund from the garbage fire that is Dune. very excited to move everything into it!
I know this is an older video but just purchased the Fractal Torrent and am in serious need of cable managmenet help! Was a little sad you cut out that part, wouldn't happen to have that footage around anywhere would you? 😅 Rocking a push-pull orientation 360mm aio and, in combination with some pretty stiff corsair PSU cables, cable management is not clean. I barely have the back glass on, but since you can see everything, I want to go back and clean things up.
Push pull doesn't increase performance it just makes your system louder because it creates turbulence.
i agree , why put glass on both sides? to charge you 300 bucks that's why!
Any recommendations for a vertical GPU mount for this case?
Thanks Nick & Klaire!
The more "innovative" designs i see from manufacturers, the more i'm convinced that i should buy some wood and sheet metal and build my own case for my next pc. i do appreciate the design and the process involved in manufacturing, and fractal have clearly done their homework, but this case just reminds me of some old school cases and doesnt really impress me. The front looks awesome though
Diy perks made a beautiful wood pc case, which used 2 exposed noctua nh d15 cpu coolers for the cpu and gpu. It was beautiful and was what got me into pcs
Plastic top panel but glass on the backside, backwards logic.
Great production! Sick B roll
Like hunting or golf. So justifiable on those grounds too. Fun! Good video! Thanks!
Pretty sick design. Love the layout.
Which vertical mount did you use please? I'm new to building and just got the same case
Just wondering? what GPU bracket did you use to make it Vertical? the Fractal b20 or the phanteks?
