His physical levels at 36, 37 , was insane. Imagine him today, with all the advancements in sports science, how much even greater, his physical levels would have reached. His technique was impeccable. Dribbling, incision passes, vision, heading, delicacy of shot. Powerfull passing with *_both_* foot. All at a carat gold standard. Definitely, the most complete player I've seen, along with Pelé & Di Stéfano.
@johnpacino007 That's my top 3, not only because they're the most complete but also the most influential ever! The 3 most important people to football, and no one can take that away from them!
Agree with everyone on here Cruyff was greatest ever. Not just in ability but as a captain and coach too... and as a visionary. The guy changed football more than any other
Cruyff was exceptional, at the age of 36/37 making a statement and winning the double with your ultimate arch rivals in just one season. The best ever!
Thank you for this video Cruijff is the most complete player of all time. He was the Messi pf his era but he was also very vocal and a born leader/captain/coach on the pitch
What a fucking legend. What I'd give to have someone like him in barca again, as a player we have messi but this guy was way beyond a player, he had a very respectable and notorious philosophy as a manager and did so much for barca as an advisor which sprouted into the success they had with guardiola imo
What he shows here at the age of 36 is better in terms of insight and passing than the best players of this moment. Sheer genius, elegance and brilliance. He was indeed the master of the game. Better than Pele and Maradonna.
A stupid decision that time off Ajax to let him go. But on the other hand also great from Feyenoord to take him in and show everyone Cruijff was for everyone in the Netherlands and not only for Ajax. We can be all proud of this magnificent player. Maybe the best in the world.
Magical footage! In this age of superlative, the 'younger generation' should really see Cruyff action to really appreciate what a complete footballer looks like- elegant, unbelievably quick (even at 36!), a supreme reader of the game, he has been a hero for so many, yet very few players have reached anything near his level of mastery (Michael Laudrup is the closest I can think of).
I'm hardcore Feyenoord and in the camp, who are proud that he played for us one season. Under Feyenoord fans it's 50/50, some don't even recognize the cup and the title that season.
Thanks Sebfootball for this video. Sme of his passing in this video is breathtaking. To think this was his last season, still better than some greats in their prime.Amazing player. They'll only be one Cruyff ever.
