I’ve still got mine, had the battery replaced and it’s just fine for me. Works more than adequately and looks great. iPhones don’t change that dramatically and neither does the software.
In looking at one at the moment everything works but there's a crack on the screen should I still buy it

I just upgraded my iPhone X that I got back in 2017, to the iPhone 13 pro max 5 days ago. Had it for 4 years, and would definitely recommend to people who usually don’t go for the top expensive phones.
I did the same, except I got a replacement halfway when I dropped it. But everything about the 13 promax is just better in every way

Thank you for this review! I bought this phone in early 2018 for the initial price of $999 and continued using it until now. I don’t upgrade as much even though I can afford to do so. Will see. My phone is still functioning. I am tempted to buy the iPhone 13 pro max but I might wait until the 14 series as I heard the design might be jump significantly.

@@Juanguar yes I just saw reviews on the iPhone X using iOS 16 and not good news for the battery life and it was draining by the second! The reviewer also had 100% battery health and I’m at 77%. Not worth changing batteries now so just holding on as much as I can to this phone until the 14s come out.

I think today the 11 Pro is such a sweet spot if you like the X, it's the same size but with incredible battery life and better cameras, I wish we got newer 5.8" iphones :/
I just picked up an iPhone X with 100% battery health and the battery has been amazing. I don’t play any games, so maybe that would use more, but it’s been some of the best battery life I’ve ever had on a phone.
@@eamonob84 Same, I don't consider myself a heavy user, an iPhone X can last all day for me, but there's still some thinking about it, with the 11 Pro I could literally forget it, go almost 2 days without charging, it's crazy, I never thought about it during the day
So you know, after experiencing this kind of battery life you just can't go back, it's truly amazing and it's not even that impressive when you can have an iPhone 13 Pro Max nowadays, I bet I could get through 3+ days easily with that thing

I just upgraded my x to 12mini (mainly cause 5g) but I'm kinda missing x's 3d touch. Ihad that phone 4years and it got bit slow compared to this 12mini but I think it was caused mainly by too full memory. I hope that person who bought that phone from me has good time with it!

My new phone is a iPhone X, but it’s a ex demo, so it wasn’t used by a person just used in the apple shops as a demo phone, so it has 100% battery life, and is fast so it’s great. It’s so much faster than my old iPhone 7

@@bowflex1990 basically after a certain time, the phones that stand on the demo use get cleaned and reset and they sell them after they get taken down when the a new iPhone gets sold

Apple does a battery replacement at a reasonable price. For those who can do their own battery replacement, the X is the last model iPhone that doesn’t need special pairing software to replace the battery.

8:23 Phone X user here. Actually u can change frame rate and resolution in camera app. To do this I should go to settings-camera-record video and activate “video format control”. And ur done

Still works great. Only thing that’s got me mad is the glass in the back cracked. Not going to fix it. It’s covered with a case anyway.
Buy a new glass with glue I did it myself for 25 euros

@@syukribukhari9680 just updated to 15.2 this morning. I don't anticipate much of a change from 15.1, but I guess we'll see. I should clarify that I don't play games and don't have any social media. My usage is calls, texts, browsing, videos, music, podcasts, etc. I'm sure the people that don't get great battery life on the X do stuff like gaming and social media.

Just got one with 100% battery health and I can say even playing intensive games for 2h (GRID Autosport and GearClub: Stradale) I was able to get 6h of total screen time, I'm mindblown cause I kept hearing on reviews that the battery wasn't good yet I can game comfortably with high end games!
Also the gameplay was surprisingly smooth, I'm shook how old this device is and how recent it feels, love it! Not missing iOS 17, even on my iPad I'm keeping it on iPadOS 16 cause I don't see any feature worth updating over.
Right now am using a IPhone 7 but I want to upgrade to iPhone 11 but I'm still waiting for the new SE 3......😑

What are you talking about on the camera app that it won’t let you switch the settings. I’m able to on a iPhone 8 through 4K60 and hd and more. So how would it not let you on a iPhone X. My friends x let’s him. It must be something with your x or you didn’t update it or something.

Someone else told me in the comments that there is a toggle in the settings that you can turn on to see those settings in the camera app. I tried doing that and it works! So you are 100% correct my friend. I didn’t know about this before I published the video.

Well I don’t know about the used cellphone market in the US but at least here in Ontario, I can easily buy an iPhone XR for $350 CAD. So If you ask me I would say $440 USD is definitely on the expensive side. I personally wouldn’t pay that much for an iPhone XR right now.
