Thank you so much
You’re welcome!
I too have a 2017 Pathfinder. Its 2WD and a SV. I did mount the same trailer hitch, put only a 4 pin wiring harness, as I didn't think I would be towing anything heavier then a light trailer to bring my leafs to the dump.
I am now considering buying a travel trail and upgrading the wiring harness to a 7 pin, and adding a break unit.
I have a few questions for you:
How big is your Travel Trail?
What is the weight of it that you are towing.
How does the Pathfinder tow, and what kind of Mileage do you get?
I am looking at a 19ft trailer with a dry weight of 3900 lbs.
I am a little concern about the CVT transmission.
Awesome - I highly recommend taking the leap! The family loves to go camping.
Our trailer is a 20-footer, roughly 3,500 dry weight. Even though the pathfinder can tow up to 6,000 it would be terrible on the transmission. As it is, we are only getting about 7-8 MPG - which is why we’re about to upgrade to a bigger vehicle for longer road trips!
What size bolt are you using I bought the hitch but didn’t come with the bolts
Honestly, using what was sent with the hitch - I would reach out to the manufacturer/store and have them send the missing parts. It's not your fault - let them fix their mistake!
Please need to cut off the pastic bumper car or not please let me know or just install like you sown in the video?
No need to cut away the bumper - this hitch receiver mounts underneath!
What size and length buts did you use? I was given a free trailer mount
I couldn’t find a listing that provides those details - I suggest reaching out to customer service at etrailer to see if they can help:

What kind of person puts a lubricant on a load bearing, vibration prone, upside down mount? Ya want the bolts to fall out?
First, WD-40 is a Water Displacer (WD) that has a very small amount of lubricant. Second, a lot of the chemicals evaporate within a few minutes of application. Third, we used a significant amount of torque when tightening the bolts.
@@GalippsGadgets - WD-40 is not made for this. You ought to have used a thread locker.
The bolts don't fit
Ours do - make sure you’re buying the correct version for your make/model!
I did but the correct one than had to buy new bolts that were the same as the ones that came off of the tow hook
