I am officially 5 weeks post op from my top surgery and I am still working through my healing process and the thing that gets me through every week is I will eventually be 11, 15, 20 years in the future looking exactly the way I know I deserve to look. The same way you feel now. I hope for my future by sharing in the steps other people have already taken before me. Thank you for posting this today!

I had top surgery 4,5 years ago and even though my scars turned out a bit stretched, wriggly and bumpy due to some complications, I’m super happy with my chest.
I actually remember your pre-surgery anxiety video. I had top surgery a month after you: June 26, 2013. One of the best days of my life. And 11 years later, I accompanied my friend get his top surgery a couple of weeks ago!
I had top surgery on the 15th and today, the 31st, most of the sensation started coming back. It's trippy but I love my new chest and it's so nice to walk around without a shirt and not feel awkward about it. Trans joy!
I really like your experience with transitioning. I remember you saying you took a foot out of the T pool for a moment just to see what you really wanted. And I think uncertainty should be embraced in our community because transitioning and surgery is such a big life decision. I finally made the decision to get hysterectomy and got it last Friday! I have my top surgery consult in Nov, which will be a month after my 40th bday. This surgery is a legitimate 40th bday gift to myself. Being born in the 80s and growing up in the 90s, I had that fear/acknowledgement of, "I know who I really am and I'm ok knowing me even if no one else does". Then @ 37 I just couldn't keep my mouth shut for any longer. At first, I was terrified about who I would loose in my life but at the same time I just couldn't care about them any more. Then again..at 37 I came out and the SUPPORT I got. Legit mind blowing. Of course I lost some folks but for the most part..ugh. I'm so jealous and amazed how those younger (and older!!!) than I were so brave. I'm sad I lost so many years being afraid for so long, but I definitely do think this is MY TIME. I'm grateful for you and your videos. I've followed you so quite a few yrs now. And bravo to you for having this "gung-ho" in your 20s. The love and bravery of my younger trans folk have very much motivated me to get my life right. You are an inspiration to "old" and young. Never doubt your influence on others and knowing you do touch more people who watch more than comment. Thank you for helping, informing, encouraging everyone around you. Thank you.

I’ll be 1 year post op this Saturday! I was terrified since I’d never had any kind of surgery before that and had no idea what to expect but it was so worth it! I literally cannot express enough how much it has improved my life 💚
My top surgery is 49 days and I've gone through the feeling of wanting to rip my skin off from dysphoria AND extreme anxiety that I'm making a huge mistake.
I found your pre-surgery anxiety video because Jackson Bird quoted it in his pre surgery video (which is five years old now). It put me completely at ease to see someone with the exact same fears as me, going out of pocket for the same reasons, and having the raw courage to unashamedly express yourself and going through it. And seeing your unbridled joy 11 years later almost made me cry, which is very hard to do.
Thank you for being you and telling your story. I wonder if you realized at the time that your videos could make an impact in trans lives even a decade later.
😢I got my 1 and half year ago, is so bad, looking is good, but I developed horrible keloid scar and is painful and burn sensation every day... If someone knows about a doctor or something please let me know, im sick of this 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
I had top surgery in 2020 at the height of COVID-19. I was so scared i wouldn't be able to get because of covid but thank God i was able to have it done by Dr Garamonie.. im sure i didn't spell his name right.. but as like you was the best day of my life. I love my chest .
Congratulations on your 11 year anniversary! I am a 59 year old Canadian living in New Jersey. I just had Top surgery this past April and I an still over the moon with joy about my decision and the results. When I listen to you I feel your joy and love hearing you talk about it!
