+Alex Luking Actually, Brostep started in the UK in 2007! It was UK dominated in 2007 and 2008 with artists like Rusko, Caspa and BAR9. It didn't reach North America until late 2008 when Brostep was already a scene. Bassnectar and Datsik were the first North Americans to make it. It's not Americanized, it's just another type of UK Electronic music. It's not even a type of Dubstep either, it's a type of POST-Dubstep, but it's more true to the original Dubstep sound in a way though, as its tempo goes back to 140 BPM, where as Post-Dubstep is at 130 BPM.
For everyone saying dubstep use to be good. Shut up. There are still so many artists keeping it awesome. The whole circus crew is still keepin it real. You just have to find tracks and artists you like. If you like dubstep from 2009-2012 then go find artists that make that style of dubstep. There's alot out there. I understand there's alot of brostep tracks that sounds like a star wars battle scene every single track. I can't stand it either.

By far the best mix I've heard by CircusOne/UKF productions. So excited of whats to come as Dub-step evolves and trends become more provocative and mandatory.
Remember being in mexico using one of the computer cafes , luckily found this and shit was dubstep good. Ill still show my kids my generation of "dubtep/techno" .

@MartinL2394 for the sceptics: I am 18 and live in Scotland. Me and my 3 flatmates have done this a few times before. The first time we made the mistake of using double size shot glasses but the time we did it with jelly shots was the best! It's ideal for goin out to a club because the alcohol doesn't hit til you get in (hopefully)... Our neighbours listen to good music, wether they like it or not!
