Much appreciate your reviews, letting music play rather than interrupting. I'm 75, retired Vietnam Air Force vet. I've heard almost every famous rock based band since 1960s, all genres, blues, hard rock, jazz, classic rock, as well as metal. Lovebites totally awes me. To me, as an old Texas redneck, Lovebites is as talented, dynamic, inspiring, as any band, ever. They're my favorite, along with Band Maid and Hemophilia. Lovebites live Blu Ray DVDs are amazing. I'm total wolfpack, for life.
I am an old Spanish wolf, and honestly, I am in awe of these girls, I still remember that distant 1978, when I was waiting in front of the record store for the latest Rainbow or AC/DC album and now, after a thousand years later and with the transformation of heavy metal into something dark, pessimistic, sometimes unpleasant, I find myself with these wonderful women, incredible and beautiful artists, full of sympathy and positive energy, who transmit joy of life and hope, who have filled my heart with joy. I cant stop watching and enjoying them; I have forgotten the old bands with their old musicians who repeat their old songs over and over again; I just want to hear, see and feel these masters of heavy metal music. And special mention to the most beautiful and talented singer in the world, my beloved Asami, the goddess before whose feet I bow.
Totally right on! As one who grew up in 1960s, listening to hard rock, blues, blues/rock, I lost interest in 1970s, '80s, as heavy metal became increasing dark, hostile. I gravitated back to blues, jazz, classical, and international folk music. My favorite musicians were Stevie Ray Vaughn, Gary Moore, Eric Clapton, and blues legends, Albert King, Buddy Guy, BB King, and so many more from that genre. Then, one day on You Tube, in 2018, I discovered Lovebites. I was stunned, awed, had to hear more. That started my journey, ordering their CDs, concert DVDs, and eagerly listening to their music. I was saddened by Miho's departure, but delighted with Fami. Lovebites remains my favorite band, inspiring my soul, spirit, mind, as i listen closely to the profound lyrics, as well as virtuoso music. I'm an old guy, 75, retired Medical Service Corps from US Air Force. I now live and work on my North Texas wheat farm, as a red neck Texas farmer. Lovebites continues to inspire spiritually , emotionally, in every way. I admire, respect these lovely, talented ladies in every way. God bless them! Greetings from Texas.
@@Lpmgato1 Friend, I loved your answer. From now on you have a Spanish friend, a 60-year-old young man (haha), who has lovebites playing background music on his computer in his office while I treat patients. When my colleagues approach and listen to the music (at low volume, of course), they are amazed, they cannot imagine that someone so theoretically serious and dressed in well-branded polo shirts, is a heavy metal from head to toe. These girls drive me crazy, I love them deeply, especially Asami (with the permission of my wife, who also loves it haha). Realize, friend, thanks to our beautiful Lovebites, we have met people with similar tastes and that in full maturity we have discovered something beautiful.
Putting aside the musicianship and vocals, which speak for themselves, I get a euphoric feeling of happiness watching the pure joy emanating from Asami, as a front woman nobody comes close imo. 🤘🎤🥁🎹🎸🐺
Welcome back to Lovebites ! This LIVE performance is quite incredible since it's a pretty complex song to play. M&M basically harmonized licks/solos for more than half of this 6-minute plus track.
The lyrics could interpret into a, somewhat, homage to Miho. It's difficult to figure where the Lovebites' song lyrics go, they are very deep. I love the Momma Wolf reference, that was epic!! 🤘👍
Another brilliant reaction. I agree 100 % that Lovebites is not going to come all the way to the states for a 1 or 2 day festival. Something is cooking (hopefully). Thanks for sharing. Cheers.
This performance cemented this song forever as epic status in my mind! I hope you are right about additional U.S. show dates. I have my Atlanta ticket, and I hope others get the chance as well.
Enjoyed your video. Thanks. A very emotional song for me to this day... Regarding ProgPower, the LOVEBITES ticket only sold for that day & day after together and are "non-transferable". I won't be surprised if that results in several/numerous empty seats as those who cannot get themselves there will leave a space instead of even gifting the ticket... First two days of festival tickets where for the single day each. LOVEBITES 'day' sold-out in about 36 hours as I recall... I'm in Oregon & hoped for something West Coast and now a Frisco show is booked (!) & have my 'alarm' set for when sales begin! 🐺 dreg👁
Yo se que que todas son grandiosas, pero en esta canción POR DIOS HARUNA POR DIOS‼️ increíble esos tambores⚡⚡⚡⚡Lovebites en mi banda favorita, gracias por la reacción 🤟🏻🐺
You are right on regarding the costs of a foreign band coming to the U.S. It is actually an outrage--no other country makes is so hard for foreign talent to get exposure here--Except Iran (for religious reasons) and China (for political reasons). It is outright protectionism. I did score a ticket to Progpower, and I'll be flying there from the West coast to see them.
I doubt anyone can harmonize as seamlessly as Midori & Miyako do. And you cam't help but grin with Fami's cheeky little smiles she gives. Very charismatic.
It seems this was the last song were Miho was involved. When the original MV was released I was still in shock because of Miho’s already announced departure from the band and their future was uncertain, but I always thought that they had to move on because they still had so much to offer. That’s the why Asami was so emotional.

I think Midori and Miyako have taken Fami under their motherly wings in we are the united as guitar solo is ending you see Miyako looking down the line at Fami on the other side of Midori like an approving teacher. Also Midori in Hammer of wrath interracting with Fami the same as she did with Miho is kind of a sign of respect that she is confident in Fami to play Miho's part in the song. ]:)
IMO every one of them played a blinder on this performance - but what Haruna was doing tops the lot. At times she was like an octopus with her arms all over the kit. I'm surprised she didn't spontaneously explode at the end. I'd so love to see a complete drum cam of her for the whole performance. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
I'm with you in hoping the expand Prog Power into a US tour, but nothing as of yet. This song is on the compilation album , "In the Beginning - The Best of 2017-2021". Not on any studio album as it was recorded with Miho, after her decision to leave the band. And since you mentioned Nemophila, did you hear Saki left the band? They plan on continuing as a 4 piece. From what I hear Mayu is going to play some guitar, and the solos will be more guitar and bass.
I had not seen that Chris. Well it disappoints me, as long as they still have Mayu, I am still a fan and we'll go see them as soon as I have a chance. It does bum me out that Saki left though!
You can never go wrong with Lovebites! If you were even going to get back to Unlucky Morpheus a song you will probably dig much more than the 1st song you listened to is the most recent live version of Black Pentagram from a year ago! Im sure you would enjoy that one 🤘😊🤘
Funny you should mention that. I was actually looking at unlucky Morpheus the other day and wondering what song I should do next. LOL Thank you for making up my mind!
I tried adding the link. The most recent live performance from about a year ago is the one to go with. Just search Unlucky Morpheus Black Pentagram live. The thumbnail should have Shiren in black at the mic🤘😁🤘

LOVEBITES - Nameless Warrior [live] lyrics:
This is it, Living under the destiny to fight
My doubts layin' silent in past
Arm myself, I am ready to take the step into enemies
Will you give it up?
What do you feel under the darkness?
I search for light that I have never seen,
Stare inside, I know it's somewhere
Glorious innocence shined by the moonlight
This is the beginning
They will not see me surrender
Bringing back memories
I'll never let it go
Now is the time we'll never forget
Nameless warrior
Hide the light that I found in my path
I call it ''faith'' for now
That is all left for me
Shivering, too afraid of the night but I believe myself
This is up to me [!]
The truth and lies are in the mirror
I search for light that I have never seen
Stare inside, I know it's somewhere
Glorious innocence shined by the moonlight
This is the beginning
They will not see me surrender
Take my hand, I'll be there and never let it go
Now is the time we'll never forget
Nameless warrior
No time for looking in past now
Fears vanishing into the sky...
SOLOs:
Broken piece of a soul
Never heal in the rain
And will there be end to this?
Flaming up inside of me
Giving me insanity
The memories fading in my head and now I'm fallin'
SOLO: both
What do you feel under the darkness?
I search for light that I have never seen
Stare inside, I know it's somewhere
Taking step the way I believe
Glorious innocence shined by the moonlight
This is the beginning
They will not see me surrender
Bringing back memories
I'll never let it go
Now is the time we'll never forget
Nameless warrior
