It's so great to see that some people out there are still making such amazing videos for this series. Kenshin is such a loveable character, and his story with Tomoe and Kaoru are both so heartbreaking. I really loved that guitar version of "Departure" at the end, along with Kaoru's wish to Tomoe.

Kristine Silmaro Agreed, Kenshin is the best character ever created along with Batman and Lelouch in my heart. Along with being a masterpiece and a keystone for other samurai anime, just because it is old and didn't have a great TV series which is still better than any shonen out there imo it really is under appreciated. FireBoyAMV thanx for this beautiful AMV for this legendary series.
Kenshin Himura or Hittokiri Battousai, one of the most complete characters in an anime and sadly to say one of the most underestimated, Naruto, Ichigo, Natsu and Luffy even Goku cant compete with him, his motivations, his sadness and his ideal are so well developed that you can actually feel them, thats why those Shonen heros cant stand a chance against Kenshin (as a character) they lack of true spirit

I very rarely comment on videos, but in this case I feel compelled to do so. Your work is extraordinary, your AMVs - absolutely beautiful. You are amongst the best AMV makers I have seen and you deserve way more views than you have got so far! This AMV in particular will always get me; the first time I saw it, it made me tear up. For me it is, most honestly, the first good RuroKen AMV I have watched and will always be the best.

I really enjoyed this! There are not many Rurouni Kenshin amvs out there. You portrayed both of the OVAs very well, even though the actual OVA for Reflections was.... disappointing. I know this seems like a lot to ask, but I hope to see more Rurouni Kenshin videos from you really know how to get the feeling across and just make me want to reread the whole manga! ^^

That was Trust and a Betrayal, the second movie. This video has Reflection, the first movie in it also. But it doesn't have any of the anime, which I myself don't class as... Gory? Idk. You don't see swords through throats or skulls, that's for sure.
