There's just something so charming about tropical plants and cactus having to be grown indoors because they are in cold climates. That they are so nice and snug protected by glass makes them even more beautiful and loveable.

Thank you Lyn for the wonderful visit to Belfast Botanic Garden! Like you, I'm afraid of heights so when y'all were on the wheel, I crawled up under my bed and shook like a leaf! It was a beautiful view though. The tour was lots of fun too! The Hans Tree is so tall it's going to have to be moved outdoors soon! It really is incredible how much the big Flame tree has grown, its massive now and I can't believe that only a few years ago it was growing in my office under the grow light haha, it was so hard to give it away at the time and I even cried haha, but when we see how happy it is growing in the beautiful big palm house and the size it is now it makes us feel so happy we donated it, thanks so much Daz for your wonderful Friendship and amazing comment and support and for watching, and Hans and I are sending you and beautiful Edith lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER to England and Singapore for a fantastic new week XXXX

I almost didn't go with you guys on this cool tour!! Even though I'm so far away , my heart was beating a little fast during and after the ferris 🎡 wheel ride!!! I'm afraid of heights!! I know, here I am a guy with a greenhouse full of lethal sharp and poisonous plants , Love to pick up snakes!! And find other creepy crawling creatures facinating where most would run for their lives!!! And I just don't do heights !! Deb teases me about it all the time! The tour was great really enjoyed it!!! Hans' tree is SO tall,wow!!!! Thanks for taking us on this tour guys!! Even if I did run away to the Mr. Whipy across the street while you guys rode the ferris wheel!! Crikey Lyn, the wind noise on the Wheel was enough to blow any bloomers away! What a great view up there. I loved the Cloister Cactus in the B.G and Hans's own super tree way up the top! I can't believe so many people were out there on the grass and not in looking at those fantastic plants, or was it just too warm in there? Thanks for the tour, best wishes to you both xx ❤

I am growing 3 Madagascar baobabs from seed. they are now each about 3 feet tall each. when they get too big I will donate them to the local public greenhouse in Albuquerque. Andansonia grandidieri.

Is that a Lord and Burnham made greenhouse at the botanical gardens? beautiful.
So happy you love the gorgeous greenhouse at the Botanic gardens Jimmy :-D the big glass palm house was built by Richard Turner in 1930 he also built the big glasshouse at Kew Gardens in London, the big Tropical ravine greenhouse in Belfast was built by Charles Mckimm in 1887 but it has recently been restored with all new glass and bricks as it was in desperate need of repair, the Lord and Burnham greenhouses are very beautiful and would be my dream greenhouse haha, thanks so much for your wonderful comments and support and for watching, sending you lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER for a wonderful weekend XXXX
