Thanks for the comparison, it helped me decide what to buy. Went with the DMEX and what a great final retrofit install as everything is inside the headlight with no external drivers, very clean and OEM looking. You wouldnt know from looking at the headlight that it's led vs factory halogen until you turn the lights on. The fans make almost no noise and the light output is much better than halogen (but still not as good as HID). I am good with the DMEX E2 projectors and their light output. I made some videos of my retrofit if your interested. Please keep in mind this is my first time doing this and there was a lot of trial and error but in the end the simplest setup was what worked.

The dmex ive found were the ones with cap Korean led chips, if I were to buy I'd buy the dmex save money and maybe mod with different leds, what leds they use in the morimoto ?

is DMEX a Chinese brand? I've seen their HID kits for $60-80, are these really Hylux ballasts like advertised on their ad listings?

Hey guys. could you do a video that shows the light output of a stock 2015+ F150 fog lights with LED bulbs, vs the Morimoto LED fog lights? I'm trying to figure out if it's worth the $200. Thanks

I like the warmer colour too like the Koito. It's really the best for usability.

Thanks for replying, sorry I hadn't seen this before. I was speaking about the koito bi-led projectors (DM008). It's noticeably whiter than the M-LED.

@@therealb888 Please understand this is not a customer service platform. If you want to discuss anything in detail its best to reach out to us directly. None of the projectors here are really used any longer in the retrofitting world. When you modify the Koito with a clear lens you will have some blue color at the cutoff line. In stock form not as much color flicker but the color is definitely on the cooler side. Newer age factory LED projectors I believe have gotten a little warmer now. In terms of most OEM like color on aftermarket projector, the MLED 2.0 is pretty nice.

Yes, I’ve been debating mLED 2.0 but I’d like to put in a quad setup in my 2011 Corolla if I have the room. And 400 bucks a pop is expensive to put in quads so I’m hunting around for a cheaper bi led and I really like the warmer color of the dmex projectors. I’m not a huge fan of the white led color but really I’m just looking for the most light and the most usable light I can fit in my headlights. I live in Alaska and I want the best light I can get

@@kylermahoney3761 You might be lucky to squeeze a 2.5" projector in the high bowl, and if you can, there are limited options if you want quad low beams and quad high beams, or will settle for dual lows and quad highs. For the high beam, you can consider a 2" HID or bi-LED, but you will be very lucky to find one below 6000K. AES has a 1.8", 2.0" and 2.5" that are all "family", and they're not the best on low beam as beyond the hot spot is a dramatic reduction in output and tons of foreground light. But they are indeed wide as far as you can see the cut-off line, but not much usable light extends that far out. At the hot spot, it literally white-washes everything in its path and is very potent at casting light down the road.
