Fantastic! Especially loved that lucid moment of a Salamander recollecting the cruelty towards Xenos they have perpetrated. In my opinion this is one of the best examples of Space Marine Satire. Salamanders sound so epic and good natured with a genetic instinct for protecting those weaker than themselves. But at the same time, when their defense becomes offense, they have committed serious war crimes against aliens who often just wanted to be left alone.

The last words of the alien captain of a Diasporex ship were literally “all we wanted was to be left alone” before the Emperor’s Children and Iron Hands killed him and all aboard their ships before they could flee Imperial space. Vulkan himself murdered a captured Aeldari child with a freaking Flamethrower. Doesn’t get any more brutal than that.

When you think about the chapter's theme, they are basically what GW wanted to replace the Squats with, they are basically Dwarves, they are all about forging, fire and hammers adorn their holds and armor, and they really hate Eldar.
Salamanders are so noble. Peak Space Marine for me. If I could I would combine Attributed from the Space Wolves, Iron Hands, and the Salamanders for my peak ideal chapter.

I like the 4k vid and the surround sound. I have a mega home theater - 11.2.2 A pair of 16 inch subs - they shake my house!! Its sounds - ungodly!! .... lol. The TV is the best out now, 8K Sony Bravia 85 inch. All ran through My PC, to boost and set The finally EQ setting. So to say - Your Content Is Being FULLY Enjoyed!!

I can just see an animated montage of salamanders being heroes of the imperium, people (mostly chapters like the iron hand, or marines malevolents) talking down to them, only for them to be shown the fury of the dragon their name comes from, and being the terrors to the xenos and the heretic.

2:15 narrator says “apocetharies” instead of apothecaries. I’ve noticed some words being mixed up like that in other videos. I believe he may be dyslexic 😅Doesn’t ruin anything (in fact it makes it more realistic in a way), i just thought I’d point that out. Great video!
