I was so afraid that you were going to paint that beautiful wood top, when I saw you get out the paint! Good choice. Beautiful job!
Thank you! I love all of your comments. Thanks for the support ❤️ the client was so very happy with the end result. It was one of my fav tables we have flipped
Beautiful! Again, well done! xo
Yahoo…another Dave Ramsey happy story…he helped us too. He always says that hard work and goals always work…congratulations to both of u…
Thank u!!! We are so excited to be on our baby step journey! Best wishes on yours!
Loved it!
I love this table and chairs!
Another unique take on a dining suite! The blue base distressed to show both the white and dark wood finishes underneath turned out beautifully. I imagine custom orders are the most nerve wracking but this is a perfect 10.
The white latex paint & urethane on the tabletop certainly surpassed it’s durability promises!! I was impressed you got it all off *and* it didn’t leave the telltale white residue in the wood grain. Wow 🤩
Thanks so much! I am loving all your comments! Thanks for watching all of my videos! Appreciate you!
Seriously think this is my fav table flip!
That is a wonderful table now. That wood patterning on the top is a real find. Bless you both. I have been bingeing on you and feel the positivity. It would be so easy to despair, wouldn't it?
Awesome! Thank you! This comment made my day. Have a great week, and I’m thrilled to have you.

Did you do a top coat on the chairs and the whole table or just the table top? PS this is GORGEOUS!
Oh my goodness, that table set turned out so beautifully. I’m a total fan of you and your husband’s work. You are a great team. Congratulations on being debt free, I love Dave Ramsey, he’s helped so many families. I know that God can help us when we seek him. Great work!
Amen! He definitely walked us through this time period! This skill comes from him I have no doubts about that! I dont feel like i have a creative bone in my body! 😂
Congratulations! on being det free
Thank you!! We are so excited about it!
Thank you so much for sharing. The table is beautiful what a wonderful flip! I need to show my husband this and maybe he would get on board to flip furniture with me. I need to watch the Ramsey man too I guess. Was the debt paid off all by flipping? Can't wait more content and I'm sure your channel will soon explode!❤️
You’re comment made my Mothers Day! Thank you! A large chunk of the debt was indeed paid by flipping. Thanks so much for tuning in!
Yea!
dave ramsey!
Thanks!!
Been watching a few times, enjoy your content. When using stain assuming it is oil based by can shown you used a water based poly. I didn't think you could mix those. Oil and water. I had some trouble with minwax stain , finally removed with mineral spirits and restrained with a water based stain and then finished with poly water based. Thanks you any help would be appreciated.
Hi! We haven’t had any issues w the poly we use and the minwax stain. I have tried the wipe on poly before and had the same sticky residue, same with the stain w/ poly premix. That was a sticky mess but no issues w the Varathane Poly. Hope that helps!
I also made that mistake (using minxax oil based stain and then minwax water based poly) and the finish has also lifted in certain areas like the backs and legs of chairs. Much better results when using water stain and water poly or oil based stain with oil based poly
the table and chairs look nice however the upholstery needs more detail...seems done with not too much care...I hope it was just to make the video... Thank you for been an inspiration for me...need it a lot...blessings to you and yours. Seems like God is talking to me lately about going into something that i love to do but too chicken to swim across the river lol
Lolitabonita - thank you so much!
Corners are hard to do to get the right tension and avoid pleats. You have to see it done.
@@rockshot100 yes, u are correct but there are tricks to get those bad corners done the right way...starting with air stapler..and practice and...the type of fabric and the way u work the corner...etc..
@@lolitabonita08 Yes, sometimes it helps to dampen your fabric slightly. I don't have an air stapler and have even done stripped fabric and you know how easy it is to get that wavey or crooked. I pull my points first thing, then work so there are no pleats showing on the top. One shot shows a lump in the chair, but I am pretty sure it is just a shadow. Probably their first time, so I give them an A+, considering that.
Start with a tiny little easy project first. Do NOT swim across the river! One thing will lead to another.
Love it, more attention to the chairs covers, lots of wrinkles, need to take time to pull the fabric taut
Ok thx!
The was beautiful until you distressed it I don't like that
Beautiful
Thank you! Cheers!
Love it!
Thanks!!
