Worse? They were both horrific crashes, with hundreds of fatalities, but 800 broke up in mid air. To me that's worse, than slamming into the ground.
@@TWA-km9wt i know, but american airlines didn't go bankrupt, while TWA did. I dont even remember writing this comment, I guess I just felt it was unfair when I did.

Well, not exactly. We never went bankrupt, we did file for chapter 11 protection, but so did AA. Unfortunately, once we realized we could not exist on our own, AA was in a better position financially, so we agreed to a merger,, where AA would buy all our assets and dissolve the company, keeping all of our employees.
