You should see the live version of “Stabbing in the dark” ... both guitarist & bassist also do vocals ! 🔥 & it’s from a Live DVD so it’s in amazing quality!
If you are interested in the mini movie, you started with the correct song. The music video order is 1) American Nightmare 2) Thank God It’s Friday (Friday the 13th) 3) A Grave Mistake (The Crow) 4) Stabbing in the Dark (Halloween) 5) IT Is the End (IT) Then check Merry Axe-mas (Silent Night Deadly Night) it’s brutal
I can recommend nearly every song from their latest album The Silver Scream The Story would be continued by listening to: Thank God, It's Friday (A Grave Mistake) may not fit to your channel Stabbing in the Dark IT is the End Further songs from this album, you could check out: Merry Axe-Mas Enjoy your Slay
I love how excited you get for the breakdowns, shit is contagious and had me smiling the whole time. And your breakdowns have helped me a lot in my pursuit to become a vocalist, keep up the great work!
Holy shit !....just listened to LORNA SHORE - To the Hellfire....New Vocalist is a fucking sick bastard ! The outro is insane.... i think mark should talk about this song :o
The most impressive thing is that 3 guys sing in this Band and they can reproduce like... 90% of their vocal layering live. For me it is a huge turnoff if a Band uses like all the recorded tracks in the background
I LOVE the Silver Scream album! And the videos are incredible! I love that they tell an extra story fitting to the stories in the songs (which of course are based on horror movies). My favourite is "Communion Of The Cursed"
So Lorna Shore just dropped a new track with their new vocalist... to the hellfire is the name of their new song. Check it out and react if you can... before you do, their new vocalist is named Will and he has some of the sickest highs I have heard ever. Just check it out
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD......"LORNA SHORE - TO THE HELLFIRE" i can NOT wait for you to do it....its the greatest thing to happen to metal in a long long time
NEW Lorna Shore track (To The Hellfire) with new Vocalist. He sure is a beast! Definitly worth a Reaction/Analysis!!! You want to check this one out \m/
Ice Nine Kills is one of those bands that when you listen to them you get hooked to every song they've made. In my opinion, there's not a single song on the last 4 albums that I would skip. Almost everyone I've seen who reacts to them just loves them.
INK are my second favorite band of all time so I must recommend you break down Merry Axe-mas and IT is the End because I think those showcase Spencer’s vocals very nicely
This is a really great band! Ironically, the first song I heard of theirs was "A Grave Mistake" (Based off the movie The Crow) and it only had clean vocals in it so it was a surprise when I happened to go back to the band and hear other songs. lol Also, I love it when they do a low and high scream at the same time. Makes an other worldly sound! They are really the only ones that I know that do it. I think they made it a requirement to do it in about every song. Including their metal cover of Maroon 5's Animals. lol
I'm so happy you listened to Ice Nine Kills. I wish I watched this when it first came out. But I always watch your videos on a binge so I leave for months at a time to watch them all lol
THIS!^^^^^^ and other songs too like "Communion Of The Cursed", "Me, Myself, and Hyde", and my personal favorite "Let's Bury The Hatchet.... In Your Head"
Really love this reaction. You get some reaction videos out there that are almost judgemental and afraid to enjoy the band. This was authentic, you enjoyed the music, but educated. Great work
Im pretty sure she did that thing with the toaster so it will wake her up and escape from the nightmare (freddy) because in the video you could see earlier that she fell of a chair accidentally and she woke up and escaped from him.
One thing that should note is that is on this album and a bunch of their older songs their guitarist JD does some of the screams as well. He does more of the higher screams in this song. Ink has gone through several lineup changes since this album came out. Their bassist Justin left to play in Motionless in White, and JD left the band to focus on production work. JD most notably worked on one of the more recent motionless in white albums. As a result live, JD’s vocals are now done by their rhythm guitarist Ricky. Ricky helped out on the writing and recording of some tracks on this album, and then officially joined the band during the touring cycle
They take inspiration from horror movies, iconic books, and other things like that. Not just movies c: One of my favorite bands, glad that you covered them.
@@KardavoxAcademy I’m personally bias about it, if they only do one I’m like nah but if I see they are working on the series I’m all in watching them 🤪
The band have changed lineup a bit since this was recorded, they've a new bassist who shares some of the cleans and 2 new guitaristsFrom what I've seen of them live, the vocals, both clean and not, get shared between all 4. Bassist does some cleans, rhythm guitarist does screams, lead drops the occasional low while Spencer does a mix. He really does do it all live, high screams, lows and cleans, just not quite all the same parts in the studio recordings. Not necessarily saying react to this video, but it might help satisfy your own curiosity a bit as to how it's balanced in a live setting. ua-cam.com/video/q-4Q4pXwAY0/v-deo.html Also a good example, this time all clean vocals ua-cam.com/video/TLqNuecwmqU/v-deo.html
I honestly think you should do the full silver scream album in a Playlist. Its absolutely amazing not only on the band but their performances as well acting
Spencer is one of those metalcore vocalists that could easily do deathcore You should check out Merry Axe-mas, he goes his lowest there. Also, Spencer sometimes uses fry but he uses mainly false chord for both his highs and lows. I know because I can mimic that sound almost just like him with false chord. Also you can tell for sure at his live shows. Speaking of, they hold up live. They not only sound good, but they're just plain entertaining to watch. They're what happens when you give a theatre troupe some instruments.
Been doing vocals myself over 10 years and I can say that theres no way I could ever hit some of Spencer's highs without frys. Granted I have a pretty low voice even just in talking range but if Spencer is hitting those highs in false cord he'd have to have a much higher natural range than I do, but considering I can head voice songs this wild life has made makes it hard to believe he isnt using frys.he could be using false cord but its debatable nonetheless

“Merry axe-mas” gives is a better example of spencer’s harsh vocals, as well as “it is the end”
Came here to say this but ALSO probably their best tracks. Imo.
Lets not forget stabbing in the dark, thank god is friday, communion of the curse.
The jig is up ... that is all
It is the end is probably my favorite song Spencer's done vocally it's just so powerful
Nah let's bury the hatchet and so long steven long are way much better examples of how good Spencer's vocals are.
Producer: "So how many vocalists do you have?"
Ice Nine Kills: "Yes."
You should see the live version of “Stabbing in the dark” ... both guitarist & bassist also do vocals ! 🔥 & it’s from a Live DVD so it’s in amazing quality!
I second this! The live performance is amazing.
this 100% it's better than the recorded version
Stabbing in the dark is amazing, the live, acoustic and video versions are all Chefs Kiss
true
Christmas can come early with “Merry Axe-Mas” by Ice Nine kills
I’d love to see what he thinks of that song
Oh my god yes
Was thinking the exact same thing
Hands down. The breakdown is bordering on a Deathcore style. It's so good.
If you are interested in the mini movie, you started with the correct song. The music video order is
1) American Nightmare
2) Thank God It’s Friday (Friday the 13th)

Then check Merry Axe-mas (Silent Night Deadly Night) it’s brutal
It is the end is easily my favorite song overall from silver scream but Jonathan is still the goat ink song in my opinion
Love it. If you ever get a chance you should react to their song Stabbing In The Dark. Soooooo good.
The whole Silver Scream album is honestly amazing, but I second Stabbing In The Dark!
Live especially
@@MadMan123654 I agree it’s amazing
INK has so many great songs for anyone who even remotely enjoys horror. One of my personal favorites is Communion of the Cursed based on the Exorcist
love Communion of the Cursed, especially the music video where Spencer is really playing it up like he's possessed, so good.
That's my favorite too! I think it gets overlooked a lot. The lyrics are super clever and the vocals are all over the place
communion of the cursed is a certified banger
@@lethal3919 such a banger, love Spencer's performance in that.
@@spookydook6, I agree. It's criminally underrated! It never gets mentioned, yet I still listen to it almost everyday.
Spencer is an INCREDIBLE vocalist. The amount of different things he does across all their various tracks is amazing.
I can recommend nearly every song from their latest album The Silver Scream
The Story would be continued by listening to:
Thank God, It's Friday

Stabbing in the Dark

Most of their newest album is worth a reaction, especially Stabbing in the Dark, Thank God It's Friday and (for some wonderful cleans) A Grave Mistake
They are one of my all time favorite metalcore bands, they helped me get into metal and horror

Yeah, but before checking out, make sure you have a cross and holy water with you because that song will completely destroy your soul
Really hoping this is the next video. I need his take on it, lol.
The mid/high fry screams are mostly from JD, their old lead guitar player. Spencer does the lows and the crazier highs.
They're one of the best groups I've had the privilege of seeing live. They headlined a show in October 2019 and they killed it
That sounds awesome!
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD......"LORNA SHORE - TO THE HELLFIRE" i can NOT wait for you to do it....its the greatest thing to happen to metal in a long long time

Ay to the hellfire Lorna shore, ain't no way you havent heard the buzz about it. As soon as i heard the song i looked for your reaction
