this is an amazing game, i love every second im playing, get yourself some good alcohol food and smokes and dim the lights and play yourself a great cinematic game that doesnt require a super computer to play it
Narrator: The message provided the access codes to the 'Rasputin', near-derelict spacecraft Me: Ra Ra Raspustin, lover of the Russian Queen. There was a cat, THAT, really was gone....
Got this yesterday. Having a BLAST so to speak :) Im only 2 hours in but loving it. Customizing my ship is so fun. The graphics are amazing. Hard to believe its just two guys and their contracted out parts. Double Damage rocks and has a great future ahead of it I do believe.
Glorious artwork upgrading on Homeworld/X series/Star Wolves, and glorious combat chaos with light shows that would make someone with Epilepsy blow up in a mist of blood. I have become hard.
Ooo man this is soo Epick, clicks perfectly on that old school Star Wars vibe ! Awesome to see you pick this up Jumbo mambo zhala (Splattercat) :D Good job and Keep em coming !
I love you dialoging with the AI NPC's Cat, cracked me up!! Play your cards right, sound natural enough, and you might very well get some VO work, and start a even more lucrative career!!!
When I attribute Avorion as being a cross between Freelancer and Minecraft, I always get, "Wtf is Freelancer?" All I can do is sigh... Thank you so much for knowing one of the best of the best! This very game here though, Rebel Galaxy is currently on Chrono.gg for a whopping $4, but only until tomorrow morning! I think I'll be trying to pick up a copy today myself!
hey splattercatgaming, this game is so much like the phone game called galaxy on fire 2, I hav been waiting to see a similar game like that, this is almost the spitting image of it
Anyone else here because of PS Pl.....oh...people have already made that observation....ummm....hi? Good job gameplay guy! Never heard of you before so...well...keep up the good work man and congrats on allllll the new views! So....that's all I got...buh bye.
hey splattercatgaming, this game is like the phone game called galaxy on fire 2, I hav been waiting to see a similar game like that, this is almost the spitting image of it
A faster way to pulse scan systems is the F key on ur keyboard also bounties tend this randomly generate so when u go into a mission it is possible that there will probably be a couple bad guys with bounties on them
I got this on Steam recently, put in 61 hours to finish the main plot line (I'm not a hardcore gamer, could do it much faster I'm sure). I think it works out to about twenty cents an hour at the sale price, so pretty good entertainment value. Of course I could keep playing with my maxed out destroyer class ship or start a new game. Pretty fun, maybe I'll do it again sometime.
This game reminds me of Galaxy On Fire 2 on smartphone which is a very fun game i used to play a lot a few years ago. Just got this today for free on epic definitely gonna play!!
hey splattercatgaming, this game is so much like the phone game called galaxy on fire 2, I hav been waiting to see a similar game like that , this is almost the spitting image of it ,
There is a reference point in space; the elliptical! However, which way round, well.. Not really. Unless you look at the magnetic orientation of the system's star.Edit: Okay I looked it up, apparently there is a right way round, as the planets in our system orbit counter-clockwise, so there must be a right way round to make that assumption. Further research: "Up for the Solar System is pretty easy - if you are outside the Solar System watching all the planets revolving around the Sun, simply apply the right-hand rule. Point the fingers of your right hand in the direction of travel of the planets and your thumb points north."
It looks like Stellar Wanderer, almost exactly, but better. The interface in the stations is basically a carbon copy, as is some of the icons when you are in space.
You want the "full immersion" thing, try Star Citizen, at least once it's persistent universe (MMO) module comes out, so you can try everything. This game is freaking outstanding, but it's not meant to be the full life immersion deal. I'll be playing this and SC for different reasons. I love both.
I played through this once (I really rushed through it on ps4, and regret rushing it.). And, now I am going to do it it, properly...while I way for Elite: Dangerous to release at the end of next month.
Splat, I don't know if you were asked this question or not. but i'd like to know, have you ever posted your vids for a certain game on steam? I searched for this game on Steam and checked out the video section.. I thought it'd be kewl for people to know about your gameplay. Hope this helps as I feel you're vid would help others see a different sight on certain games. Love the music. Pawa wa wa wa, Piowa wa wa (Plucking guitar strings)
it's funny that you say you want to play like a tutorial for new player but a minute after that you instant close tutorial menu and said you not want all of that. lol nice video.
Glad I bought this on sale before Rebel Galaxy Outlaw!! This is as new user friendly as a MMOG! I was pulled out of warp and slaughtered by vastly superior forces my first five runs before I had a chance to learn my controls, or had a deflector. Responsibilities to aging family make my free time and the money I spend on myself special, so please by honest, is Rebel Outlaw any more beginner friendly?
damn the first one looks better than the second one from what i see here, maybe i should have started out with this but somehow this game slipped under my radar when it came out
such bullshit that youtubers get the game early. -_- I've been fallowing this game for months and Splat decided to start uploading videos of the game 3 days before it's release. well have fun dude. I'm avoiding spoilers.
Hi there, Splatt, I have a couple of questions, is it there friendly fire? and can you crash against little to medium debris while in warp mode? Great game, I'll totally check it out.
Am i the only one who thinks Orzu's language sounds a lot like Rodian? It sounds a lot like Greedo's side of the conversation that he has with Han in the Mos Eisley cantina
Man, those battles.... Auto aim.. you navigate like a ship in sea, with little regard to Height of flight... For someone who grew up on Tie Fighter, Wing Commander etc, this feels pretty simplified.
Yeah....the whole game screams "not enough resources for more"...But I think that's actually pretty good, all things considered. Many projects take too much upon themselves, and end up with something broken, Rebel Galaxy aims fairly low, but I think it succeeded at its goals. It's not a full price game, and doesn't try to be. But it's fun for what it is. Their next project Rebel Galaxy Outlaw seems to aim a bit higher, although it seems to also be more classicaly fighter-focused, losing the battleship vibe. But in turn, it seems to deliberately aim for being more old school oldschool. I'm gettin TIE and Freespace feelings from it in particular. I just hope they don't overshoot goalwise this time. You might want to keep an eye on it. ua-cam.com/video/nfQetVBJrQI/v-deo.html
Is rebel galaxy better option than eve online? From the outside both games look the same but eve online is free and $2 for rebel galaxy on steam where I play games. what would you/ others recomend? I am going to continue watching this series, and reading the answers helps me understand more.
Gonna get it for free on epic store🙌🔥
Dayum, Firefly vibe is real in this game
Legit

2021 and just decided this needed another playthrough on the PS4 - it's got a certain magic to it..
Funny you mention Firefly as that's exactly what I was reminded of watching this.
That first cut scene was far more polished than I expected.
Love this game, please finish it, I like you game play style, and this game deserves a good play through.
You are awesome dude. This game is a bitt difficult in the beginning you just made it so much easier to just get in on it. Thanks a lot!
"i knew i had a reason to be afraid of plumbing fixtures"
"... that was the moon talking." Subbed right there, u always in that good a mood?
It's like the planet went through the stages of being good to being bad
This... looks... Awesome!
Glorious artwork upgrading on Homeworld/X series/Star Wolves, and glorious combat chaos with light shows that would make someone with Epilepsy blow up in a mist of blood.
I have become hard.
This is the kind of space game i want! Damn i wanna play this so bad!
Wow, I subscribed just because you said Space like Spache, I thought I was the only one...
Extremely nice introduction, I enjoyed watching and listening to every bit.
Ooo man this is soo Epick, clicks perfectly on that old school Star Wars vibe !
Awesome to see you pick this up Jumbo mambo zhala (Splattercat) :D
Good job and Keep em coming !
i need to watch you more! you're my style!!! I Love space games, shows, and movies!!!!! You just earned yourself a subscriber!

The way you said Orzo's name was awesome. I think I'll definitely grab this game. Seems interesting.
OMFG, *Tears run downon my cheeks* This game....so beautiful
When I attribute Avorion as being a cross between Freelancer and Minecraft, I always get, "Wtf is Freelancer?" All I can do is sigh... Thank you so much for knowing one of the best of the best!

Step 1, Underpants
Step 2, Commodities
Step 3, PROFIT!
Finally the underpants gnome fiscal plan is complete.
hey splattercatgaming, this game is so much like the phone game called galaxy on fire 2, I hav been waiting to see a similar game like that, this is almost the spitting image of it

Rebel Galaxy Outlaw!!!! Yessss....
Epic free ❤️
A faster way to pulse scan systems is the F key on ur keyboard also bounties tend this randomly generate so when u go into a mission it is possible that there will probably be a couple bad guys with bounties on them
SplatterCat, If you like game like this you just have to look at Starcitizen. You wont regret it !

Hey I'd like to start a conversation about gravity puns, but it would just go down hill
Sounds like you have the world's weight on your shoulders.
+The Bushido i know its a downer
+Andrew Herald Don't stay down for too long man, otherwise it'll be impossible to get back up.
Thanks for pulling me to the right set of mind
No worries, it was a real attraction for me as well.
This game reminds me of Galaxy On Fire 2 on smartphone which is a very fun game i used to play a lot a few years ago. Just got this today for free on epic definitely gonna play!!

This actually might be not too bad , Awesome graphics
God i played the fuck out of this game, didn't know you made a series on it.
You want the "full immersion" thing, try Star Citizen, at least once it's persistent universe (MMO) module comes out, so you can try everything. This game is freaking outstanding, but it's not meant to be the full life immersion deal. I'll be playing this and SC for different reasons. I love both.
Hows playing Star Citizen going?
Would love to see more of this Splat! :)
Damn this looks amazing! I really hope you do daily vids. Your commentary really helps it be awesome too.
lol "A Volcanic planet that was all like WAWAWEWA!"
I played through this once (I really rushed through it on ps4, and regret rushing it.). And, now I am going to do it it, properly...while I way for Elite: Dangerous to release at the end of next month.

SM is a statute mile, which is just an aviation term for a regular old mile.
Great vid splat
Getting this in about 20 minutes off epic. Is it still a 2D style game or since 2015 have they updated it to make it 3D?
i just got it from epic too, its amazing and so fun to melt pirates with lasers still 2d flying though
@@stacyfamily yeah downloading it now just hope I have enough drive space for it HA HA
cant wait to try this out
Splattecat, that ''burned out moon'' as you call it is no moon, it is the death star
I enjoyed this! I watched you stream it and it's a really solid game. Looking forward to more playthroughs and twitch streams.
the bartender looked like he came straight out of freelancer
Currently playing Starpoint Gemini 2 and i think it's also worthy of the title "sucessor of Starlancer", also looking foward to playing this one.
it's funny that you say you want to play like a tutorial for new player but a minute after that you instant close tutorial menu and said you not want all of that. lol
nice video.
SM is Space Meters until the game says otherwise
"Nautical miles" are a thing, so I see no reason "space meters" wouldn't fit.
Nice game to watch as a LP.
This game comes out so soon :D Bring the Firefly feel to life :)
Doesn't hurt that guitar playing in the intro is very similar to the firefly theme. Man, now I have to rewatch that series ...never a bad thing :-)
+zormgnoster I watched to series only a little while ago, it's still fantastic :D Would love to watch with a bunch of friends!
This looks awesome
This is like Freelancer. Wow!
"What up, I'm Jared, I'm 19, and I never fuckin learned how to read."
Glad I bought this on sale before Rebel Galaxy Outlaw!!

Look at all those explosions...so much oxygen in space.
damn the first one looks better than the second one from what i see here, maybe i should have started out with this but somehow this game slipped under my radar when it came out
AC/DC "Back in Black" being about accounting 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Wow coincidence that I had Duel of Fates in another tab whilst watching this.
Z axis is always up/down,just for the reference.
not true, y axis is up/down, x is left/right, z is forward/backward
If I have learned anything about space maneuvering is that the "enemy gate is down."
"partaking of its particular energies (no heresy)" my fucking sides
You can never have enough outgoing daka, any incoming daka is bad
Oh, its a Space Western.
I loved Darkstar One it had a great story :)
looked a lot like this game
such bullshit that youtubers get the game early. -_- I've been fallowing this game for months and Splat decided to start uploading videos of the game 3 days before it's release. well have fun dude. I'm avoiding spoilers.

I know this is probably way too late, but "F" is the quick pulse key.

Ye, this is just an arcade game. No skill needed.
Also check out Starpoint Gemini 2 on Steam! :)
This game looks really chaotic and it will start to make my eyes hurt fast ;-;
Juno. Freelancer rev. I like this.
3:06 A REBELation!
goddamn splatter cat is funny
I'm absolutely stealing "space hooptie".
Is rebel galaxy better option than eve online? From the outside both games look the same but eve online is free and $2 for rebel galaxy on steam where I play games. what would you/ others recomend? I am going to continue watching this series, and reading the answers helps me understand more.
They need to make a free roam firefly game I think that would be amazing
So this is like Galaxy on Fire, for PC? Gotcha
I loved freelancer it was so great
