I'm glad to see Dustin is relying more on his gravel growl, instead of attempting to carry a note he knows he couldn't without the help of electronics...It makes it more real and emotional!
Unbecoming was the song that got me hooked on Starset and I've been in love for years now. Dustin sounds like he could have used a bit more warming up before this performance, but it's still ok
I honestly feel like all the screaming is murdering his vocal chords. I've seen Starset live 3 times (once for each album) and I feel like his voice degrades with each new release. And let's not forget about MNQN....Dustin is really pushing the envelope. More power to him though, I will always be a fan of Starset and their associated acts.

In 2014, he was still trying to get the hang of singing higher, because in his old band Downplay he didn't sing high as much as he does in Starset and that took out a lot of breath. In 2017, from what I've heard he had some sort of sickness or lung disease that messed up his vocal performance after Vessels came out around the time of the 2017 Loudwire Awards. 2018 sounded a lot better and he had been taking lessons to improve how his screams sound and being able to sing higher without losing breath. 2019-2020 definitely showed that live as he didn't lose breath as often as he did back in 2014-2017.

He improved alot but still is nowhere near his studio voice. He already is off pitch in the first line of the first verse. He gets better throughout the song. I guess he doesn't warm um properly

Starset became one of my favorite bands due to their unique cinematic rock style. It was unlike anything I've ever heard. Then they release acoustic songs with such raw, emotional talent. Thanks Starset, you've given me an existential crisis as my mind tries to determine which style is more mind blowing 😉

This is my favorite of their acoustic. I can't believe I just recently found them, they quickly became my favorite, passing bands I have listened to and supported for years. Not a day goes by now that I don't listen to Starset. 🌠
God! Division album so perfect. Tbh, I never heard a band that I listen to every time I drive without getting bored except Starset! They're just so great, Dustin voice, songwriting, and nice music. I just want Covid-19 ends so I can enjoy listening to them while driving at late nights🌉
The way he transitions from heavy to soft is unique in its own. I’m not saying he has the best singing voice ever, but his is very eclectic and powerful. He definitely is one of the best songwriters ever though. I’ve never felt a connection and transcendence through music as I did with Transmissions and Vessels
I consider Starset the best not because they have the best voice, best guitar, or best music. But how they package all these together to form "Starset", a tool is just a tool, it is the user that define it
First i listening Starset's song is at the pv of Arknights, and i feel the song is so cool in the pv. And at the 1st anniversary of Arknights, i am so happy that we can hear the live acoustic show of Starset for Arknights, and this is the second song at that live show. I am soo love their song
I remember when it was just Dustin and Ron singing the bridge, but with Brock and Ron singing the bridge alone, now Dustin has a chance to step back on this bridge to deliver beautiful grit and sound inside of being aired out during the inbetweens
A lot of musicians can feel proud that you like their their music but you don't come back to listen to their music very often and only few musicians can be proud that you come back to their music again,again,again and again and that's exactly what Starset does it's crazy but in a good way.
I played this while hanging out with my friend and his reaction to the end of the bridge was so good. He was very surprised about the fact that Dustin could hit that note.

This doesn't sound nearly as polished as the studio version, but there's a certain charm to that.

Well he did improve but it's not as great as his studio voice. I still love this version though. Hope he can get better and better and better
