I’m going to miss this ride so much. I remember riding this ride for the first time in early 2000-2002 (or whatever year this ride opened) when I visited Orlando for the very first time and I loved it ever since. I’m 32 now and I still never got tired of this ride.
This really is a nice ride with some of the best dino animatronics. And it used to have a big deafening therapod roar at the end. I hope they keep some of the dinos for something.
This was one of the first ever rides I rode at WDW (PotC and Haunted Mansion were the first 2), one of the greatest rides I have ever been on. I’ll be there in January before I start school to ride it one last time!
Honestly after watching this, I'm glad Dinosaur is gonna get replaced by Indi, cause Indiana Jones is such an amazing ride and utilizes amazing story telling.
This ride will always be called Countdown To Extinction in my personal Heaven. All it's effects and animatronics would always work. And CTX would always be rough.
Fun Fact: This ride has the exact ride layout as Indiana Jones in Disneyland with just Dinosaur theming. I heard the new ride will not he a copycat of the Disneyland one
Did anyone watch that Animal Kingdom Disney sing-along VHS tapes? Well the Dinosaur ride from that “Walk the Dinosaur” song scared me when I was younger. I didn’t go on Indiana Jones at Anaheim until age 11 because I mistook the ride for the Dinosaur ride. The irony of that is that both Indiana Jones and Dinosaur both have the same layout. I’m now an adult and not scared of either rides anymore. However, I’m going to miss Dinoland.
Gonna miss that ride when Indiana Jones takes its place! And bet that people are excited for the animals of South America to move in at Disney's Animal Kingdom! But, what will happen to both Marley the American Crocodile, the Asian Brown Tortoises, & the Abdim's Storks to be honest?🦕🦖 Clattering Lanzhousaurus!
Such mixed feelings. On the one hand... I've ridden this, and I've ridden Tokyo's version of the Indiana Jones ride, and Indiana Jones is just way, way better--one of the most thrilling, atmospheric dark rides I've ever experienced. On the other hand... we don't need another Indiana Jones ride. We already have Indiana Jones rides, and Indiana Jones is kind of a played-out franchise. Dinosaur was *different*. I like different. I think parks should have unique rides. It'd have been so cool for them to do a reimagined Dinosaur instead, or design something entirely new.
Geez why does animal kingdom need an Indiana jones ride? What does Indy have to do with animals? Can’t people just go to one of the Disney land/world parks for that?

I just rode this for the first time in November at 33 years old and I loved every second of it!
@@CameronShute I’m glad you loved it. Are you planning to go on the ride again?
It's very rare to see dark rides with fog machines that still work! 👌
"incoming", "left right left right", and "they're not gonna make it" live rent free in my head
We can't stop now keep going keep going!!!!!
Love the pacing on this ride; it's so good!

It’d be cool if they moved them to the T-Rex Cafe in Disney Springs.
The Iguanodon helping you escape by holding up the tree at the end 👍🏾
I hope they build the Tokyo DisneySea Indiana Jones version, that's one of the best Disney rides overall.
That would be amazing, they do need to start upgrading attractions to compete with epic
There doing a brand new third version themed to South America so it’ll probably be Aztec
@@odogg6815 Isn't Lost River Delta South American?

I’ll miss this attraction. But life goes on.

"See you around Dr Jones..."
Going to be missed 😢
but if they're building the Indiana Jones ride from Tokyo DisneySea it's a good swap, that one's AMAZING. One of my favourite Disney rides ever.

Interesting, I figured it would just be a reskin.
…I DESPISE, with all of my being, Bob Iger. ANOTHER attraction I’ll never be able to share with my sister.
Saul Goodman on commentary 😂
I’ll never forgive Disney once they get rid of this!
Nice park
Agree that this ride needs a upgrade, look at those dinosaurs movement really not pleasant
I Miss Dinosaur Ride In 2026 😥
I want it to go 😮
I'm hoping it will be open late 2025 when I'm planning to visit for the first time!
That is disappointing. I love this ride.
I love the whole land.

I’ll be there 1st week of February 2025!
I rode this when it was new and it was terrifying. The carnosaur chase us and was very loud
🙂👍👍👍
Nice park ride
I went on this ride one year ago. Yeah, it's VERY dark. Can't see a thing!

I mean... The track layout kinda the same, well at least the first and last part.
Nice way to teach people the names of dinosaurs too bad it's closing.
I never liked the scary dino at the last scene.

This is one of my all-time favorite rides! I really hope Disney keeps it or relocates it somewhere else😂
How in the world would they do that...
Don't closing
