I’m going to miss this ride so much. I remember riding this ride for the first time in early 2000-2002 (or whatever year this ride opened) when I visited Orlando for the very first time and I loved it ever since. I’m 32 now and I still never got tired of this ride.
This really is a nice ride with some of the best dino animatronics. And it used to have a big deafening therapod roar at the end. I hope they keep some of the dinos for something.
Really gonna miss this. When I did my college internship at Disney I would head to Animal Kingdom first on my days off and straight to this ride. The crowds would always head to Everest so many times I'd get to ride it all by myself. It's super cool to be all alone riding this one!
Best ride in all of Disney. Nobody ever noticed that it was there because of its lack of emphasis in the surrounding area (which people often found cheap and disappointing) so they tended to skip it entirely.
This ride will always be called Countdown To Extinction in my personal Heaven. All it's effects and animatronics would always work. And CTX would always be rough.
This ride was so much fun. I always had a fear this was going to go away and now it’s coming alive in 2 years. 😢 I loved this ride smelling the fog, the jerkiness in complete darkness, there won’t be another ride like this. I’m going to miss DINOSAUR dearly!!
This was one of the first ever rides I rode at WDW (PotC and Haunted Mansion were the first 2), one of the greatest rides I have ever been on. I’ll be there in January before I start school to ride it one last time!
Honestly after watching this, I'm glad Dinosaur is gonna get replaced by Indi, cause Indiana Jones is such an amazing ride and utilizes amazing story telling.
Fun Fact: This ride has the exact ride layout as Indiana Jones in Disneyland with just Dinosaur theming. I heard the new ride will not he a copycat of the Disneyland one
Bob Iger doesn’t just take away good rides at Disneyland, he has done som disgusting vile stuff. He is on Harvey Weinstein’s level. He was on Epstein Island. He literally named his son after Ghislaine Maxwell’s father.
This is my favorite ride at Animal kingdom, and hearing that this ride closes in 2026 makes me sad! On the other hand, it will be interesting to see what the Indiana Jones replacement will be like. If it’s anything like the one in Disneyland, I’ll be satisfied.
Gonna miss that ride when Indiana Jones takes its place! And bet that people are excited for the animals of South America to move in at Disney's Animal Kingdom! But, what will happen to both Marley the American Crocodile, the Asian Brown Tortoises, & the Abdim's Storks to be honest?🦕🦖 Clattering Lanzhousaurus!
Did anyone watch that Animal Kingdom Disney sing-along VHS tapes? Well the Dinosaur ride from that “Walk the Dinosaur” song scared me when I was younger. I didn’t go on Indiana Jones at Anaheim until age 11 because I mistook the ride for the Dinosaur ride. The irony of that is that both Indiana Jones and Dinosaur both have the same layout. I’m now an adult and not scared of either rides anymore. However, I’m going to miss Dinoland.
Wowowowow they're closing this ride wtf. I had the one opportunity to ride it back in 2019 and the ride broke down for the whole day I was at Animal Kingdom. I can't believe I won't be able to experience this ride wtffff
Such mixed feelings. On the one hand... I've ridden this, and I've ridden Tokyo's version of the Indiana Jones ride, and Indiana Jones is just way, way better--one of the most thrilling, atmospheric dark rides I've ever experienced. On the other hand... we don't need another Indiana Jones ride. We already have Indiana Jones rides, and Indiana Jones is kind of a played-out franchise. Dinosaur was *different*. I like different. I think parks should have unique rides. It'd have been so cool for them to do a reimagined Dinosaur instead, or design something entirely new.
Geez why does animal kingdom need an Indiana jones ride? What does Indy have to do with animals? Can’t people just go to one of the Disney land/world parks for that?

I just rode this for the first time in November at 33 years old and I loved every second of it!
@@CameronShute I’m glad you loved it. Are you planning to go on the ride again?
@jacomananzan312 this ride opened in 1998.
It's very rare to see dark rides with fog machines that still work! 👌
"incoming", "left right left right", and "they're not gonna make it" live rent free in my head
We can't stop now keep going keep going!!!!!
Definitely not our dino! Go, go, go!
This really is a nice ride with some of the best dino animatronics. And it used to have a big deafening therapod roar at the end. I hope they keep some of the dinos for something.
It’d be cool if they moved them to the T-Rex Cafe in Disney Springs.
Or maybe they can add a Carnotarus fossil in the Indiana Jones ride as an easter egg.
Love the pacing on this ride; it's so good!
I hope they build the Tokyo DisneySea Indiana Jones version, that's one of the best Disney rides overall.
That would be amazing, they do need to start upgrading attractions to compete with epic
There doing a brand new third version themed to South America so it’ll probably be Aztec
@@odogg6815 Isn't Lost River Delta South American?
The Iguanodon helping you escape by holding up the tree at the end 👍🏾

I’m going to miss the Dinosaur Ride. It was my favorite 😢😭🦖🦕

Going to be missed 😢
but if they're building the Indiana Jones ride from Tokyo DisneySea it's a good swap, that one's AMAZING. One of my favourite Disney rides ever.
Rode this for the first time in February. Closed my eyes for the whole time but glad I got to 'see' it before it closes for good.

I’ll miss this attraction. But life goes on.

Interesting, I figured it would just be a reskin.
One of my mom’s favorites right here! I’m so gonna miss it😢
I’m surprised that the wait for this ride isn’t longer it it a great ride and I would go on it again
"See you around Dr Jones..."
I’ll never forgive Disney once they get rid of this!
…I DESPISE, with all of my being, Bob Iger. ANOTHER attraction I’ll never be able to share with my sister.
Bob Iger doesn’t just take away good rides at Disneyland, he has done som disgusting vile stuff. He is on Harvey Weinstein’s level. He was on Epstein Island. He literally named his son after Ghislaine Maxwell’s father.

Someone needs to take a stand against the closure of this ride! It’s all we have left of one of Disney’s most underrated films!
Nice park
Saul Goodman on commentary 😂
Soon Announcing Closing Dinosaur Ride Be Miss
Agree that this ride needs a upgrade, look at those dinosaurs movement really not pleasant

Nah it’s closing in 2025. This is by far the best decision animal kingdom has made can’t wait for Indiana jones

I am going to miss dinosaur I don't want them to close dinosaur love that ride please don't close this ride
That is disappointing. I love this ride.
I love the whole land.
I'm hoping it will be open late 2025 when I'm planning to visit for the first time!
I rode this when it was new and it was terrifying. The carnosaur chase us and was very loud
R.I.P Dinosaur (1998-2026)
I’ll be there 1st week of February 2025!
Ohh, the Alioramus animatronic is back in its place? I guess they must’ve fixed it for temporary reasons.
Nice park ride
Wowowowow they're closing this ride wtf. I had the one opportunity to ride it back in 2019 and the ride broke down for the whole day I was at Animal Kingdom. I can't believe I won't be able to experience this ride wtffff
🙂👍👍👍
I want it to go 😮
I went on this ride one year ago. Yeah, it's VERY dark. Can't see a thing!

This is one of my all-time favorite rides! I really hope Disney keeps it or relocates it somewhere else😂
How in the world would they do that...
Geez why does animal kingdom need an Indiana jones ride? What does Indy have to do with animals? Can’t people just go to one of the Disney land/world parks for that?
I’m confused. If they change this into Indiana Jones, then what’s happening to the Indy Jones ride in Magic Kingdom?
@@DavidSusiloUnscriptedThere is no Indiana Jones ride in Magic Kingdom.
Alluramous is Back!?
pretty sure he's still gone. last rode on tuesday
To answer your question, I want this ride to stay.
I never liked the scary dino at the last scene.
I mean... The track layout kinda the same, well at least the first and last part.
What was the dinosaur that they wanted to see?
Nice way to teach people the names of dinosaurs too bad it's closing.
First! Pls pin
Why? You have contributed nothing.
Don't closing
F*** the Indiana Jones ride.
