I used a piece of the fake fur instead of doing the tail as you did, I glued the pipe cleaner down the center, then folded the two sides in to meet the pipe cleaner so there was no raw edge showing on either side On the seam side, I trimmed the fur where it needed to be glued to the pot. This made the tail fluffy to match the face. I love your kitty designs!

The sponge painting technique looks so much better I’m definitely going to do it that way. Painting with a brush always just moves the paint around unevenly for me. These are beautiful, Patti! 😊

Wow, saw this and told my daughter who loves cats to go ahead and watch this video. Then to go head to dollar store and go ahead and buy everything from them cause prices cant be beat. But go ahead to Michael’s and go ahead and get paint. Then to go ahead and even put ribbon around neck. She thought that was great so just go ahead and try it and she did so if you like really good videos go ahead and watch this one but go ahead and get some coffee for extra fun. But i go ahead and get espresso. Yum.

Believe you meant to
say the Terra cotta pots are 1 1/4 not 4 1/4. If you dont have the black air dry clay, couldnt you spray them black with the spray can also? Thanks for the ideas. Enjoy your terra cotta pot pets and hope you make some more please. Inspiring.
